Demografická analýza mikroregionu Cezava

This thesis analyzes the development of the structure of the population and demographic processes of microregion Cezava in 2005-2015. In that time period indicators of status and population movement were analyzed. Using a suitable trend function future development of selected indicators until 2018 was predicted. A key finding is that the population in the microregion is aging; this negative process is slowed down by migration, especially migration of young families. The main reason for creating this work is its potential use in the microregion development strategy. Demographic analysis of this type in the current strategy is missing.

Sociodemografická analýza SO ORP Bučovice

The aim of this thesis was sociodemographic analysis of administrative district ORP Bučovice in the period 2005-2015. The first part of this thesis was dealt with description of the demographic analysis and demographic indicators. The second part devoted to the characteristics of the administrative district, civic amenities, further there were analysis of the pointers like natality, abortion, mortality, marriage, divorce rate and the migration. For these indicators, the development trend was projected for 2018 with the help of trending function. The analysis has shown that there is demographic aging in the administrative district and there is also a higher level of education of these population. At the conclusion of this thesis, a cluster analysis was carried out of all municipalities in the administrative district, which divided the municipalities into the clusters.

Analýza dynamiky obyvatelstva ve správním obvodu obce s rozšířenou působností Šternberk

The subject of the bachelors thesis is the analysis and development of selected indicators of dynamics in the administrative district of Šternberk municipality with extended competence in years 2005 to 2015. The thesis analyzes indicators of mortality, birth rates, abortion, marriage, divorce rate, immigration, emigration, migration growth, natural growth, and total growth. For the above mentioned indicators, the prediction was calculated by 2019 using an appropriate trend function. The observed results show a fluctuating development trend for all indicators. Mortality, birth rates and marriage rates tend to be rising. Conversely, abortion and divorce rate are rather declining. Natural growth has a growing tendency, while migration and total growth are declining.

Post-conflict development - Case study of Syria

The bachelor thesis deals with the proposal of changes in process of theory of post-conflict development in Syria, the development of education level in Syria from the beginning of the conflict. The work is divided into three parts. Literature research deals with theory of post-conflict reconstruction, demography, migration theory, theory of educational systems and process of reintegration. Second part is dealing with analyses of the demographic structure of Syria, their population with emphasis on children and analyses of education sector in different parts of the country. In the last part are proposed suggestions how to improve the education system of Syrian children.

Development of the population in the city of Brno in the period 1880-1910 Abstract The aim of this thesis is an analysis and description of population development in the city of Brno between 1880-1910, Demographic analysis was performed based on census data (1880, 1890, 1900 and 1910) and statistics of population movements (1881-1910). Basic demographic methods were used for this analysis. Thesis is divided into 6 chapters introducing socio-economic characteristics as well as demographic characteristics of population of Brno. Demographic revolution started during this time and the data collected show its impact on the studied population. The results of the analysis indicate a population growth mainly due to migration, and change in age structure that exhibit aging of the population. Lastly, the data show that fertility and mortality levels decreased while nuptiality increased. Keywords: population, population development, historical demography, city of Brno

Population structures of Koloveč, 1910-1921 Abstract This thesis deals with the Demographic development of the town Koloveč during World War I., which significantly affected the structure of the Population not only in the Czech lands, but also in Europe. The first part deals with the World War I., its origin and consequences that influenced the structure of the population even after the war. Another important event in 1918 was the Spanish flu, which caused the deaths of several tens of millions of people in Europe. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the number of births and deaths of the population and the number of marriages in Koloveč in 1910-1921 based on data from the Koloveč registry. It also includes a comparison between 1910 and 1921 when a census was carried out in the Czech lands. Data are analysed according to preselected criteria in Koloveč. These gauges are divided into four parts, namely Demographic features, ethnic and socio-cultural characteristic and socio-professional characteristics. Demographic behaviour of the Vietnamese people in the Czech Republic Abstract The Vietnamese have been living on the Czech territory for many years, even for several generations. Besides the Ukrainians and the Slovaks, the Vietnamese are the third largest group of foreigners in the Czech Republic. Even though the Vietnamese are nowadays an integral and common part of the Czech population, they have not yet received much demographic attention based on national data sources. This diploma thesis is focused on demographic issues of this minority. The thesis also deals with demographic differences between the Czech and Vietnamese population living in the Czech Republic. In addition, the thesis offers selected demographic features through which demographic disparities between the two parts of the population are analysed. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the legislative issues of terms such as: citizenship, nationality and mother tongue, as it is very important to understand and distinguish these terms, especially for the analytical part of the thesis. Each term is defined and described in the introduction, so the differences between terms are explained.
