A relatively large space is devoted to foster care, its types and the process of mediation of FC. The last chapter covers the accompanying organisations for foster families, accompanying workers and the services provided by each organisation. In the practical part, qualitative research was conducted, using a semi-structured interview technique with foster parents and accompanying workers. Subsequently, the interviews are processed according to each communication partner. The research shows that the cooperation of foster parents with the AO is evaluated positively, a big role is played by the person of the accompanying worker, especially his personal qualities, the way of working and the overall approach and treatment with the family, because it is, together with the services provided, a decisive factor for the selection of the AO. In the conclusion of the thesis my main findings and the results I have achieved are summarized. I think that this thesis could be considered as a useful resource or information material that could serve future foster carers, accompanying workers as well as students in the field of social work. It could also be beneficial in improving awareness of foster care and accompanying organisations.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the service of assisted contact in the process of foster care. The aim of this thesis is to find out how the assisted contact service is used in organizations accompanying foster families in the South Bohemian region. Based on the study of theoretical data, the research question is "How do social workers in the South Bohemian Region perceive assisted contact?" This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical or research part, while the theoretical part includes a description of forms of substitute family care, an explanation of the child's contact in foster care with the biological family and defining the assisted contact service. The practical part is based on qualitative research. The method of questioning, the technique of semi-structured interview, was used for processing. A total of five interviews were conducted. The interviews were conducted thanks to social workers involved in accompanying the foster parents, who were selected as a research group based on a deliberate selection method. The results were evaluated using open coding. The results of the interviews show that social workers providing the assisted contact service in the South Bohemian Region have a predominantly positive attitude towards the assisted contact service and therefore perceive it as beneficial. The results of this bachelor's thesis can be used as a study material for students or institutions dealing with the issue of accompanying foster families, or for future applicants for foster care.
Pěstounská péče prarodičů z pohledu zaměstnanců orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí
VLČKOVÁ, Dominika
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of foster care performed by grandparents. Foster care is a form of substitute family care in which the foster parent personally takes care of the child and is responsible for his / her upbringing. An individual, spouse or partner who meets the conditions stipulated by law can become a foster parent. They are often the child's grandparents. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to map the opinions of employees of the social and legal protection of children on foster care of grandparents with a focus on the benefits and risks of this foster care. Qualitative research, the method of questioning and the technique of semi-structured interview have been used to achieve the set goal. Interviews were conducted with substitute family care staff at the Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children at municipal authorities, the regional authority in the selected region and the municipality of the selected city. The obtained data have been processed by the method of clustering. The results have shown that, despite the disadvantages of grandparents' foster care, surrogate family care workers have a positive subjective feeling about this form of care. The great advantage, compared to the mediated foster parent, is the family and emotional bond between the grandparent and the child. The child usually knows the grandparent from an early age and is used to the environment where the grandparent lives. This bachelor thesis can be beneficial for social workers working with the family, because it also points to the negative aspects that grandparents' foster care brings. At the same time, it highlights the benefits of this type of foster care.
