The aim of this bachelor thesis was to discuss the issue of brownfields in both the Czech republic and abroad, as well as a proposal of re-use of former industrial building. In the first part of this paper the literature research was made to describe the problem of brownfields. An analysis of the study area with unused building in Brno-Líšeň was next step. This analysis was further developed into a proposal of repurposing the mentioned area. In this model case brownfield was concidered as a future residency of a company for processing recyclable plastic bottles into granulates. A part of this thesis was also a financial balance with SWOT analysis.

Kompostování jako způsob zpracování gastroodpadů

This master thesis depicts process of composting of food waste using an electric composter. Electric composters are eligible solution for waste management of catering facilities, that are in accordance with current legislation. The problematics of the food waste is being described using the literature review. The main goal of this thesis is quality evaluation of the final product of the composting process. The main focus is on evaluation of enzymatic activity of compost named arylsulfatase, which corelate with sulphur cycle. The enzymatic activity itself is being measured by spectrophotometer UV/VIS Lambda 25 (Perkin-Elmer, Shelton, CT, USA) using 5 mMp -Nitrophenyl sulfate as a substrate. Thesis also studies pH values of compost and phototoxicity (by Phytotoxkit test), that demonstrate an effect of final product of composting on white mustard seeds (Sinapis alba L.).

Economic diplomacy of Czech republic in China

This diploma theses connects two recent topics - economic diplomacy and China. The theses is divided into for chapters. In the first one we looked at economic diplomacy from a general view - definitions, models of economic diplomacy. In the second chapter the thesis followed up economic diplomacy in Czech republic. Then the thesis focused on economic relations between Czech republic and China mostly on trade with goods. In the fourth chapter, using questionnaires and SWOT analysis, the thesis evaluated Czech economic diplomacy in China

Bachelor´s work deals with business trips and travel expenses compensations. I started from the literature available which covers this topic and used information provided by the Agrozet company in České Budějovice. The theoretical part is aimed at the basic concepts of business trips and travel expenses compensations . Next part is focused on individual travel expenses, compensation accounting and taxes related. The practical part is based on business trips and travel expenses compensations in the Agrozet company in České Budějovice - recording and accounting of business trips. One part describes some more complicated cases of travel expenses compensations . There are also some specific problems of travel expenses records mentioned here.
