How do parents´ employment and leisure time affect their teenage lifestyle? How do family eating habits affect an adolescent´s lifestyle? Six semi-structured interviews with students aged 15 to 19 were made for the research.

Zezulová, Dominika ; Horáková Hoskovcová, Simona (advisor) ; Štětovská, Iva (referee)
The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the study of each transitory phase of the human's lifespan. The leading thread of this thesis is the Erikson's life stages theory that leads us by its nature to overcome the challenges of each stage. This basic approach is completed with partial findings of other theories in order for each stage to be introduced with all its conflicts, risks and challenges that can lead to the development of person's character. Text is completed with theoretical processing of several specific stage transitions (for example the beginning of the school attendance, wedding, beginning of the retirement etc.) One chapter is dedicated to the ritual as a tool of managing the transitional periods. Practical part of the thesis is presented by the current phenomenon of postponing the transition from childless to maternal stage of woman's life with the help of analysis of internet discussions where the motivations of young women for the postponing of motherhood are studied. Keywords: transitional period, transitional crisis, postponing motherhood

The practical part contains three different questionnairs intended for three reasearch groups for the gynecologists, for the former hormonal contraceptives users and for the secondary education health care teachers, prevention officers or guidance councellors. The aim of these questionnairs was to point out the contradictoriness of opinions among these research groups where 82 % of the medical practicioners support using these hormonal contraceptives, whereas the opinion of the former women users are in 77.6 % the opposite. The difference of opinion is diverse among the secondary education educational workers, prevention officers and guidance councellors, too. On the one hand, the overall majority of respondents (52.9 %) replied that they see the impact of the hormonal contraceptives on human health. On the other hand, they would not support their 15-year-old daughter's use of the hormonal contraceptives in almost 65 %.
