Financial statement in a limited liability company

The aim of this master thesis is to describe the methods of conducting final accounts and final statement. The background of the theoretical part is mainly valid legislation and literature and expert articles in the press concerning accounting in general and the activities related to the end of the accounting period. In the first part the obligatory methods and procedures are described. These procedures are essential in order to keep correctness and completeness of accounting and final accounts. It is mainly the legislation, description of preparatory works concerning closing the books, accounting of differences, determination of the income tax and setting up the final accounts. In the second, application part, concrete methods used in a company are elaborated. It is possible to state that all the procedures concerning making of final statement are in compliance with described theoretical principles and actual legislation. Accounting entity has a variety of methods of keeping accounts of its assets and obligations which influences the final statement. In the conclusion there is a summary of any serious mistakes or misdemeanors and recommendations of their solutions.

The bachelor thesis explores a topic of perception of social responsibility of Mendel University in Brno from the perspective of a local community, which consists of residents living in a city district Černá Pole. The thesis aims to assess the level of awareness of the local community about the activities of University’s third role. The data was collected from primary research which was based on ISO 26 000. The thesis determines which of the communication channels are considered the most effective for Mendel University in Brno. On the basis of analysis, there are recommendations made for Mendel University in Brno, suggesting a way of communication with the local community.

Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction in the Healthcare Workplace

The theme of the work is to identify and understand factors that contribute to overall employee satisfaction in the healthcare workplace. The theoretical part of the work is focused specifically on the main aspects of job satisfaction and covers important areas with an emphasis on psychosocial environment. The research section contains a comparison of anonymous testimony of the workers from two different wards on health, subjective perception of workload, the feeling of life satisfaction and well-being, working conditions and job satisfaction. The results should serve to develop a general guide, how to prevent staff stress and how the employer could help.

The importance of ICT for the management of household budgets

This thesis deals with the importance of ICT in the management of household budgets. At first are presented the objectives and the selected methods in the two main areas of work. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts, such as finance, money, income and expenditure, financial management, remuneration and budgeting process. The next section presents the basic forms of home finance management and describes chosen applications. Introduction of practical part deals with the evaluation of a questionnaire survey which aimed to map the situation of the management of home finance university-educated respondents. By questionnaires is determined the age category of respondents, number of dependents and self-employed persons in the household, the method of recording revenue and expenditure and the subsequent establishment of the budget, then the debt or form of household savings. Results are presented graphically and verbally. The next section contains a description of the software solutions accounting of revenue and expenditure and household budgets created specifically for the purpose of this thesis. In chapter Results and Discussion is presented evidence gathered in the practical part using SWOT analysis and proposed measures to eliminate the two identified threats. The final chapter assesses whether the objectives have been achieved.
