Recognition of 3D objects with uniform surface reflectance
Žemlička, Jakub ; Svoboda, Tomáš (referee) ; Urban, Martin (advisor)
A new approach based on the edge examination has been developed for the detection of polygonal structures as an alternative to MSERs and Harris points. The recognition of objects with a uniform surface was the initial motivation. The detected polygonal structures can be used as supplementary features for the nonuniform object recognition as well. Finally, the method has been tested on the real application of the viewpoint invariant car license plate detection. The main contribution of our approach is the ability to detect polygons regardless to their size, number of vertices and orientation. The polynomial time complexity for low polygon degrees allows our method the real-time performance. Moreover, the searching algorithm can be modified to find more types of polygons at a time very easily.
The Czech insurance market in the condition of the centrally planned economy and the market economy : preparation of the Czech insurance market for the enlargement of the EU
Urban, Martin ; Půlpán, Karel (advisor) ; Sojka, Milan (referee)
In my master thesis I am trying to introduce the czech insurance market in the conditions of centrally planned economy (1948-1989). Then I am trying to describe the next development of it in the conditions of the market economy. At the end I am focusing on the preparation of the czech insurance market for enlargement of the European union, I am also describing the unnecessary changes of the legal form of the market. The content of basic analytical constituents in selected raw meat
URBAN, Martin
This work is focused on the pork meat analysis. The moisture, fat, protein, collagen parts content in pork ham, shoulder and loin were measured with the NIR-method using. The samples from Masokombinát Plzen presented a high moisture content in comparison with the lower fat content. In the opposite the samples from Slaughterhouse contains a higher level of fat and less water. The pork ham purchased from the Slaughterhouse Lisov comprised 66.20 %, respectively 71.65 %, respectively 72.99 % moisture. Pork ham from the manufacturer Masokombinát Plzen contained 74.28 %, respectively, 75.18 %, respectively, 73.84 % moisture. The fat content of pork ham from manufacturer Slaughterhouse Lisov was measured 12.27 %, respectively, 4.55 %, respectively. 3.96 %. Pork ham from the manufacturer Masokombinát Plzen contained 1.76 %, respectively, 2.06 %, respectively, 3.01 % fat. The highest humidity of 75.29 % was measured at the pork shoulder by Masokombinát Plzen. At least moisture contained pork ham purchased from the manufacturer Slaughterhouse Lisov (66.2 %). Analysis revealed a high fat content of 12.03 % by the pork shoulders manufacturer Slaughterhouse Lisov. At least 1.76 % fat contained pork ham producer Masokombinát Plzen. Content of protein was the highest in pork ham by Slaughterhouse Lisov 24.13 %. Content of only 18.34 % of the protein was measured at the pork shoulder by Libor Novak. Most parts of the collagen contained pork loin from Slaughterhouse Lisov 1.78 %. Content of 0.4 % collagen parts were the lowest measured value. The highest moisture content (75.29 %) was measured at the pork shoulder producer Masokombinát Plzen, at least contained a pork ham from Slaughterhouse Lisov (66.2 %), the highest fat content (12.03 %) was observed in the pork shoulder from the manufacturer Slaughterhouse Lisov, the least fat (1.76 %) contained pork ham from Masokombinát Plzen. The richest content of proteins was in pork ham producer Slaughterhouse Lisov (24.13 %), only 18.34 % of the protein was measured at the pork shoulder of the company Libor Novak. The most of the collagen contained in sample from pork loin from Slaughterhouse Lisov (1.78 %) and the lowest in pork leg (0.32 %) from the manufacturer Masokombinát Plzen.
C Back-End for a Decompiler
Urban, Martin ; Ďurfina, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the implementation of the back-end of the decompiler, which produces a code in C language. It contains basic information about the principals and using of the reverse engineering either in the area of information technology or apart from it. The main goal is to create the back-end of the decompiler which would generate a code that would be equivalent against the input and will be translatable into a binary code. Functionality of the output code will be conserved in state of the functionality of the source code. The output is the implementation of the classes in C++ language. It does described activity as a part of the general decompiler which is developed in terms of the project Lissom.
Interaction with Old Maps on Mobile Devices
Urban, Martin ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to experiment with the latest web technologies and to design new process for mobile application creation. It is possible to create multiplatform applications which are almost unrecognizable from native applications by proposed procedures.  It is focused on performance and native behaviour of the user interface in this thesis. Described practices are demonstrated on application designed for work with historical maps, which is able to show maps from historical archives whole over world real-time. Rapid acceleration has been showed on the demonstrative application compared to standard process of creation of web applications.
Vliv buřeně a zvěře na odrůstání kultur douglasky tisolisté
Urban, Martin
The aim of this thesis was to discover the influence of weed and animals on growth of douglas fir cultures at the management-plan area Jindřichův Hradec. Two research areas with weed (Rubus idaeus (L.) and Calamagrostis epigejos (L.) Roth) were founded in 2011 at SLT 4K and 5S. Growth reactions of douglas fir were monitored on these areas, being it areas with weed left without any intervention during the whole vegetation period or areas with regular full-area weed cutting. The following criteria were evaluated: shoot height, root crown thinkness, growth, height of forked tree sprout, crown height, trunk undulation, branching regularity, number of branches, needle length and trunk shape, soil moisture, chemical composition of the assimilation apparatus and the impact of sunshine. Altogether 512 pieces of douglas fir plants were measured. The results show that douglas fir demonstrated higher height growths every year in areas without cutting than in areas with full-scale cutting, Root crown thickness at SLT 4K was also bigger in the areas with weed. On the contrary, cutting proved to have positive effect at SLT 5S and the root crown thickness was slightly higher here. Two areas, where the influence of animals was simulated, were chosen to find out what the impact of animals on douflas fir cultures growth is. 90 plants were measured in each area and terminal bud damage, terminal shoot damage and side branches damage were compared. A control group of 10 plants, that was left without any intervention, was chosen for comparison. Subsequently their regeneration was evaluated. From the results from measured values follows that douglas plants react to damage by animals with higher height growths which balance the growth length of not-damaged plants. Damage did not even significantly influenced the trunk shape, when all types of damages managed to maintain continuous trunk for minimum of 90 percent of plants in both stands.
Ice Hockey Club Financial Strategy - Transfers And Players' Evaluation
Eysseltová, Sylvie ; Novotný, Jiří (advisor) ; Urban, Martin (referee)
Cílem této práce je analýza fungování zajištění finančních zdrojů hokejového klubu prostřednictvím prodeje hráčů a zmapování postupů a podmínek přestupů a oceňování hráčů ledního hokeje. Fakta a poznatky byly získány formou nestandardizovaného rozhovoru s pracovníky ČSLH a metodou analýzy literatury.
