The Fascism of Anti-fascists - Pier Paolo Pasolini and the question of fascism

The diploma thesis aims to describe the concept of Fascism in thought of Pier Paolo Pasolini. The interpretation of Pasolini's thought is based on a more general approach to the question of Fascism in Italy, to Marxist theories of Fascism, as well as to the theories of Emilio Gentile, Zeev Sternhell and Roger Griffin. The literary-theoretical and social-political parts of Pier Paolo Pasolini's thought are particularly examined. Making claims to disputed territories and its legitimisation in the cases of Israeli-Palestinian and Cyprus conflicts

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe and to analyse the argumentation of actors of the conflicts over the disputed territories of Cyprus and of the area of Israel and Palestine. The initial point of the conflicts, according to the bachelor thesis, are nationalistic narratives, that, by their nature, are partly responsible for the conflicts. The bachelor thesis is analysing how these narratives were institucionalized, what are the principles of their dynamics and how these dynamics were influencing the actors. The role of the Ottoman Empire and of Great Britain is the matter of analyse, in both cases, too.
