Creating predictions average monthly flow for the control of the storage capacity of a fictive reservoir dam
Hrabinová, Barbora ; Sobek, Martin (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on predictions of mean monthly flows for a purpose of control of storage functions when thinking differently positions of fictive reservoirs in the catchment area. One of the reservoir is situated in the upper part of the catchment area and the second is situated in the middle part of catchment area. Predictions are made by Support vector machine method in RStudio and with the use of R language. Predicted values of flows was evaluated by the correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, Root mean square error and than was made the simulation of operation of storage function, which was evaluated by Total sum of squares modificated for problems of water management. In the end was made a comparison of both of the reservoirs for assessment of the suitability of the method.
Control water outflow of selected reservoir for using optimization model
Sobek, Martin ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on the control of selected reservoir optimization model. The calculation is made by program SOMVS. The functionality of the optimization model is verified on the selected from a number of real average monthly flows. When the solution is applied the principle of adaptive control.
Hydropower Control of Mostiště Reservoir
Bednář, Martin ; Sobek, Martin (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to propose a simplified way of controlling hydro-energetic function of the Mostiště reservoir. Controlling will be designed to maximize profit from the operation of the hydroelectric power plant and based on a simple analysis of the time course of the electricity price on the market. The proposed controlling will be simplified in the selected period using a simulation model.
A Water Management Analysis of the Rychtářov Reservoir Protection Function
Fliega, Adam ; Sobek, Martin (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is water management analysis of the protective function of the Ryhtářov water reservoir on the Velká Haná. Thesis contains hydrological model of the basin wich is compile in HEC-HMS program. According to this model are derive flood waves PV 100, PV 1000 a PV 10 000. Within of the protective function are designed outlets and spillway. The protective function is compile in HEC-HMS program, where calculations of transformation of derived flood waves are performed. The solution provides two different variants. These variants are compared at the work.
Optimization of Spillway Design Parameters
Pospíšilík, Šimon ; Sobek, Martin (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the program development. The program is aimed at finding optimal design parameters for a two-pole emergency spillway. These parameters are the lengths of the spillway edges and their relative height arrangement. The program is based on the flood wave transformation simulation. Multi – gradient algorithm was used for optimization design parameters of a two-pole safety spillway.
Strategic control of storage function of fictive water reservoir
Sobek, Martin ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis is focused at verifying the functionality of adaptive control of fictive water reservoir. Flow rates are predicted using zonal prediction model. Fictive reservoirs located on the same flow in the other profiles. Functionality is verified by the control in 2000 – 2006. Next functionality is verified by the control in selected years.
Creating of Dispatcher Graph for a Selected Dam Reservoir Considering Climate Change
Hakl, Petr ; Sobek, Martin (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of a thesis is construct a several dispatcher graphs for a selected Vír I. water dam, from real flow series, then extended by synthetic flow series generated by regional climatic models. Particular models will be discribed, so the construction of dispatcher graph. Graphs will be compared by appropriately selected parameters. In the end of the thesis will be comparision of requirements sets by manipulate order with predicted evolution of affluent to the dam and sustainability for todays claims relation on improved outflows in future with the same condition.
