Country-level Electoral coalitions in the Czech Republic

The issue of coalitions is a traditional political science topic closely related to electoral systems, party systems and party theory. In the Czech and foreign literature, however, political scientists mostly deal only with coalitions that emerge after elections. That is why I have chosen for my diplo-m thesis the research of pre-election coalitions. In my thesis I conduct research on electoral coalitions that ran for the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic or the Czech National Council. I have chosen this topic also because in the last parliamentary elections in 2021 two electoral coalitions successfully ran for election and then formed a joint government. In this thesis, I deal with the Christian Democratic Union (KDU), ODS and KDS coalitions, the Left Bloc coalition, the Liberal Social Union, the Four Coalitions, SPOLU and the coalition of the Pirates and the Mayors. I have researched all these electoral coalitions and analysed their functioning, behaviour, ideological interconnectedness and post-election behaviour and action on the political scene. For this thesis I used academic literature, newspaper articles from the time of the coalitions' functioning, parliamentary press, proceedings in the Chamber of Deputies and Internet sources in the form of news about political events. Dynamic and heat transfer analysis of a container with measuring instruments for space probes

Rocket boosters and spacecraft are subject to intense acoustic environments during launch, which induce high levels of vibration in structural elements and equipment. In addition, elastic structural interactions with propulsion systems and flight control systems can produce low-frequency, high-deflection flight instabilities. Natural vibration of the container with measuring equipment were studied by numerical and experimental methods in the laboratory of Institute termomechanics CAS. Heat transfer analysis inside the container was made by FEM with respect to the conditions during start of the rocket and work in space.\n

Approach of Czech political parties towards referendum in Czech republic

Czech Pirate Parties and SPD took the third and the fourth place in the last election to the parliament in 2017. These parties focused in their campaigns to the topic of the referendum and pure democracy. Especially party SPD has a nationwide referendum in their programme. The object of my thesis is to find out the approach of five Czech political parties towards the referendum in the Czech Republic. To explain what the referendum means and its characteristic features.
