Sedláková, Tereza ; Mravčík, Viktor (advisor) ; Janíková, Barbara (referee)
Background: In Czech Republic, 75-100 % of people newly diagnosed with hepatitis C type (VHC) are people who inject drugs (PWID). Currently, available treatment with direct-acting antiviral medicines without significant adverse side effects is fully covered by insurance. However, there is a risk of reinfection and insurance companies usually don't reimburse further treatment anymore. Aim: The aim of this study is to map and describe the development of risk behaviours in clients of low-threshold treatment programmes of the SEMIRAMIS and Laxus organisations (LSA partners) who have received treatment for hepatitis C. The research focuses on the circumstances of treatment, particularly barriers and supports to entry and the actual course of treatment. The sub-objectives are: to map the socio-economic situation of clients, to approximate patterns of use and to describe contacts with other services. In addition, to reveal the links between these factors and any changes in risk behaviour. Methods: Research was completed by metod of cross-sectional questionnaire surveys. The comparison of muscle imbalance changes in students of physiotherapy during their Bachelor´s studies
SEDLÁKOVÁ, Tereza
Bachelor thesis describes muscle disbalances, their occurrence and development in students of physiotherapy during their bachelor study. This study contains theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical part describes structure and functions of a muscle, motor control, single muscle disbalances, muscle chains, motor stereotypes, programs, stabilization system and creation of malfunctions and their chaining. Practical part contains case reports of four respondents. Kinesiological analysis and targeted therapy were done for selected students. The progress of muscle disbalances had been mapped from first to third year of their study. Results of measurements before and after therapy and results from the first year were compared. The aim of the study was to map the occurrence of muscle disbalances of physiotherapy students and to compare the changes of these disbalances before and after the therapy. To achieve defined objectives the qualitative form of research was used and four respondents participated. To obtain all data, semi-structured questionnaire, kinesiological analysis, interview with respondents and secondary data analysis were used. There were found smaller or bigger positive changes without the help of physiotherapist at three out of four respondents. Positive changes were noticed after comparison of results before and after the therapy with three students. One of the respondents had been suffering from gynaecological troubles at the time of the measurement as well as during the therapy. That could be the reason why there were no positive changes in her musculoskeletal system. The bachelor thesis can serve as educational material for students, healthcare workers as well as general public. It can help to improve awareness of muscle disbalances and serve as an example of their therapeutic solution. The thesis can be used as a base for further research.

Nursing procedures in taking blood pressure
SEDLÁKOVÁ, Tereza
By blood pressure is meant lateral pressure or the side pressure of a blood column on the side of a vessel. The pressure is created thanks to the action of heart as a blood pump. This pressure is not the same in different parts of the bloodstream. By the blood pressure is meant the arterial pressure or pressure in the artery, so the pressure in big blood vessels. The highest values are reached in the expulsion phase of the heart action, which is called systole. The lowest values are reached in the phase of filling heart chambers, which is called diastole. The sole nursing procedures required in the process of taking a blood pressure reading are many and all must be followed. This thesis is composed of a theoretical part and practical part. Introduction to the theoretical part is composed of the main terminology from the physiology of blood pressure. In the theoretical part we follow with division on hypotension and hypertension, which are the most common diseases related to blood pressure, with diagnosis and recommendation for treatment. This thesis also offers information about measuring blood pressure by the invasive and the non-invasive method. The theoretical part is focused on the importance of the nurse in the process of measuring blood pressure with emphasis on her knowledge and practical skills.

SEDLÁKOVÁ, Tereza
Self-concept is one of the most important parts of our personality. It includes our self-perception, self-evaluating, emotional aspect of our personality and our will. Its development influences the development of our personality, so probably it can prevent some pathological phenomenon in the society. Progress of our self-concept is the ongoing - life process. The school is one of the most important factors which influence this process. First of all I summarized psychological theories of self- concept in the theoretical part of this work. Afterward I concerned myself with regulations of the Czech educational system. I tried to find out how the work on developing self - concept of pupils is included. In the practical part of my work I observe how Czech teachers care about self- concept of their pupils, what they know about theories of self- concept and how they work on its development.
