Classification of free living data

The topic of this bachelor thesis is classification of free living data, captured by the accelerometer sensor of a smart phone. The first part of the thesis deals with the possibilities of recording daily activity using accelerometer and subsequent classification by neural network. In the next section, the data of eight different daily activities were recorded on ten people. An algorithm containing a neural network was created for the data in the MATLAB programming environment to automatically identify the activities. In the last part of the work the algorithm classification was compared with manually recorded reference and the results were statistically evaluated.

Comparison of collective investment in Czech republic and Luxembourg

This thesis deals with investments funds in Czech Republich and Luxembourg. The goal is to characterize historical development, and also actual situation of investment funds, to specify the main differences and common features of this investment form in both countries. Furthermore, it analyzes main charakteristics of fund industry in these countries. The last part focuses on potential future development and trend in this segment. Thesis points to advantages of investing financial resources in Luxemburgian investment funds or constitution of the collective investment fund in this region.

Analýza rizík PPP projektov

Tato práce obsahuje popis projektů PPP (Public Private Partnership). V textu jsou uvedeny základní principy a definice těchto projektů. Nechybí specifikace jednotlivých forem PPP, jejich možností uplatnění, výhody a nevýhody. Hlavním cílem práce je identifikace a analýza konkrétních druhů rizik, které se vyskytuji u projektů PPP. V práci je aplikována obecní analýza rizik. Nachází se zde charakteristika jednotlivých rizik, metody analýzy a měření rizik a také metody snižování rizik. Práce by měla podnítit k diskusi o rizikách PPP projektů a to především z hlediska jejich vhodnosti využití při zabezpečování veřejných statků.
