This bachelor thesis is focused on honey and products produced by bees. It deals with creation, composition, conditions for storage and classification according to origin, processing and packaging. It summarizes the history of honey, bee products and variety of their usage. The main focus is on pollen, royal jelly, bees-wax, propolis and bee venom. One part describes the legislative requirements relating to the quality of honey. There is also a chapter of indicators of honey quality, when applying the knowledge in practice is necessary to recognize poor quality product. A part deals with worldwide amount of bees colonies, czech producers of honey and possible counterfeit of honey.

This thesis focuses on non-silica materials and their application in drug analysis. Non-silica materials seem to be a suitable alternative to silica-based materials. This thesis is primarily focused on zirkonia and titania, which are the most intensively studied non-silica materials and their properties, advantages and possibilities of application in separation processes are discussed in many works. For completeness, the part is dedicated to alumina, whose application has been the subject of several studies and articles. But its use is marginal unlike zirkonia and titania.
