Motorway Viaduct
Polách, Marek ; Šopík,, Leonard (referee) ; Stráský, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis is a design of a bridge crossing the valley of the Hrabyňka creek as a part of road I/II. Firstly, three possible structures are designed and according to their advantages and disadvantages, the best of them is selected. In this case a cable stay bridge was selected. Following is a design of span lenghths, collumn heights and the cross-section. Then the loads are detremined and applied on a numeric model cretaed in software working on the basis of FEM. In continuation internal forces are calculated and their propriate combinations for service limit stay and ultimate limit state with time dependent analysis taken into account. In the end the reinforcement steel is designed for one part of the structure. Detailed drawings are also part of the thesis.
Study of influence of input parameters for the numerical modeling of the compression test
Polách, Marek ; Keršner, Zbyněk (referee) ; Lehký, David (advisor)
The thesis analyses influence of input parametres of the 3D Non Linear Cementitious 2 material model for the numerical modeling of compression test performed in ATENA 2D and ATENA 3D software. The aim is to identify parametres with considerable influence and subsequently replicate the load-deflection curve obtained from laboratory compression test by numerical modeling. The effects of selected model and material model settings are studied on three kind of models in total. As tools for analyzing the effects, deterministic and statistic sensitivity analyses were chosen. Parametres with significant influence will be highlighted and added to the group of parametres obtained from numerical modeling of three-point bending test. This will create a set of parametres of considerable influence when it comes to modeling advanced structures with different types of stresses.
Europeanization of Criminal Law
Polách, Marek ; Gřivna, Tomáš (advisor) ; Bohuslav, Lukáš (referee)
Europeanization of Criminal Law This thesis deals with Europeanization of Criminal Law. The topic itself is broad, selected issues of Europeanization of Criminal Procedural Law are therefore emphasized. In the introduction, certain problems which accompany the Europeanization in a Criminal Law field are presented. The biggest obstacle is a close connection of Criminal Law with state sovereignty, which is something that states are reluctant to restrict in favour of European Union. Another hindrance to Europeanization is a difference among national criminal regulations, which make an achievement of a compromise regarding the harmonization harder. The first chapter concentrates on the terms Europeanization of Criminal Law, European Criminal Law and Criminal Law of the European Union. Their definition and differentiation is provided. The second chapter discusses in brief the evolution of Europeanization of Criminal Law prior to the adoption of Schengen treaties. The informal cooperation in criminal matters took place in this era. Unlike the one in the chapter three, which already addresses the formal cooperation in criminal matters. It describes gradual development from Schengen cooperation, through the cooperation under Maastricht, Amsterdam and Nice Treaty, up to the cooperation on the basis of...
