Quick determination of compounds contained in caraway (Carum carvi L.) by a method usable in agricultural practice
Horáčková, L. ; Pluháčková, H. ; Bradáčová, M. ; Kudláčková, Barbora
Caraway is a very important agricultural commodity whose quality is determined by parameters such as dry matter, essential oil content and composition, especially the ratio of its two major components carvone and limonene. Appropriate method for their analysis is given in the Cesky lekopis (2017), however, this method is rather time-consuming, costly and demands large quantity of sample. The use of a NIR spectrometer could be a viable alternative, it is much faster and cheaper, as can be clearly seen from the comparison of both methods in this paper. In the time aspect, it's saving from many hours to a few minutes. Newly presented method could potentially be more accessible to agricultural companies who need quick quality verification of their product before taking it to the market from the viewpoint of final product quality not just the quantity, which, in most cases, is nowadays a current state of practice.
A Tool for Database Content Analysis for Testing Purposes
Ochodek, Marek ; Pluháčková, Hana (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
Acceptance testing of applications before the production includes testing of scenarios resembling situations of real usage of the application. Creating the test data is complicated matter since the data are specified by restrictions concerning the domain of the tested application and the specifications of the structural restrictions and the relations between these data. This thesis focuses on the issues of detecting the data restriction in an already created relational database. The outcome of the thesis is a set of detectors which explore the content of the database and feed the restrictions. These restrictions can be used to generate a random testing data which would represent inputs for seemingly realistic scenarios of the usage of the application.
Dialog Editor in AngularJS for ManageIQ
Blanco, Roman ; Pluháčková, Hana (referee) ; Vojnar, Tomáš (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement a new solution for a Dialog Editor for the ManageIQ application. The new editor is supposed to be created as a single-page application implemented by using JavaScript library AngularJS and drag&drop technique. The solution should bring more comfortable interface for end users than the current editor does.

The aim of this work was the determination of essential oil content and composition in hop cones according to the founding year of the hop garden and for selected hop varieties (Sládek, Premiant, Saaz) in the hop-growing region Tršice; the comparison of essential oil content and composition for the most important Czech hop variety -- Saaz -- from different hop-growing regions in the Czech Republic (Saaz, Úštěk, Tršice) according to the founding year of the hop garden; and determination of the content of tocopherol isomers and the activity of vitamin E in hop cones. The hop cone samples were taken from the hop-growing region Tršice according to the variety and the founding year of the hop garden in harvest years 2009-2011 for the determination of essential oil content and composition, in harvest years 2010 and 2011 also the activity of vitamin E and its isomers was determined. For the evaluation of the environmental influence, i.e. the effect of hop-growing regions and the founding year of the hop garden to the essential oil content and composition, the samples from Úštěk and Saaz hop growing regions were obtained. The results indicate that the highest essential oil content was found in the samples of Sládek variety (1095-1946 ul.100g-1), the lowest essential oil content was determined for the Saaz variety (271-478 ul.100g-1), but with important share of the essential oil component farnesene. The variety Premiant showed the highest activity of vitamin E in the rates of 32.10 -- 120.98 mg.kg-1. The results from different hop-growing regions indicate that the hop-gardens need to be renewed steadily, because the age structure of the hop growth is one of the important factors that influence the yield stability. The age structure of hop-gardens is insufficient from the long-term point of view, especially in the Úštěk and Saaz regions, the highest essential oil content was found in the region Tršice.
