Sound Design for 360-Degree Videos
Pilát, Peter ; Oramus, Tomáš (referee) ; Rund, František (advisor)
The main theme of this work is the creation of sound for 360 ° videos. The work discusses the area of spatial sound and focuses mainly on the whole process of creating from recording through mix, master to sharing. Furthermore, the scene is designed, a complete recording and processing is performed, a detailed procedure is described and sample tasks are created for further use.
Vamp Plugin for Sonic Visualiser
Pilát, Peter ; Zvončák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Kiska, Tomáš (advisor)
In my Bachelor Thesis, I devote myself to obtaining information from music, the way it can be obtained, the aspect of musical information, and the use of the methods themselves. Then I analyze content-oriented music management methods and also include parameterisation of music recordings and audio signal overall. After familiarizing with the specific parameterization tools to implement the Vamp plugin, which are Sonic Visualiser and Sonic Anotator, I characterize the Vamp Plugin and explain in detail its composition. As explained in the manuals and the calculations in progress, the RMS calculation function of the given signal with the possibility of segmentation functions as well as the function of displaying the sound rate or possible changes in the track temperature. Last but not least, we mention the possible use of these supplements in the future and in different sectors.
Reinforcing UX Principles in Existing User Interfaces
Pilát, Peter ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis explains meaning of user experience, its main aspects, selected methodology, its integration into agile development process and what UX maturity level can be represented in real company. It also deals with analysis of selected existing user interfaces used for network print management and its end users. Prototyping and user testing methods are iteratively applied to these user interfaces. Evaluation of these methods concludes the thesis with a recommendation what UX processes should be integrated for future development of user interfaces in Y Soft.

The Perception of Speed and Emotional Response in Intensely Visualized Progress Indicators
Pilát, Peter ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This paper deals with designing, implementing and testing of progress indicators. Indicators are specific and visually different. It discusses analogies with current indicators and their principles. There are listed hypotheses affecting the quality of indicators. It studies speed comparisons and emotion responses of the new designs with the help of test application which collects the results from bigger amount of participants. The results are processed and analyzed at the end of this paper.
