New gel electrolytes based on copolymers for electrochemical power sources
Peterová, Soňa ; Sedlaříková, Marie (referee) ; Veselkova, Iuliia (advisor)
This thesis deals with description of preparation and use of monomers and copolymers for gel polymer electrolytes usable in electrochemical power sources. This thesis is divided in theoretical and experimental part. The theoretical part describes electrolytes focused on gel polymer electrolytes, measuring methods and materials used for experiments. The experimental part deals with calculation of composition of polymer electrolytes, method of preparation and evaluation of measured results. The method of applying GPE to a negative LTO electrode and a positive NMC electrode is described too. Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV) and Potentiostatic Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (PEIS), Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and Galvanostatic Cycling with Potential Limitation (GCPL) were chosen for measurement of properties.
Psychogalvanic reflex
Peterová, Soňa ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the description, origin and possibilities of measurement psychogalvanic reflex. Also included will be the proces to measure the phenomen using either AC or DC. Psychogalvanic reflex is also associated with supraliminal stimulus. Activation or deactivation of sweat glands, controlled by free will of man, are responsive to this initiative. Attention is also given the characteristics of the electric current on human beings and the associated security scan on a living subject.
Gel Polymer Electrolytes Composed Of Ethyl Methacrylate And Methyl Methacrylate Measured At Higher Temperature
Peterová, Soňa
This paper is focused on the use of gel polymer electrolytes composed of copolymers ofethyl methacrylate and methyl methacrylate with positive NMC electrode (LiNi0.33Mn0.33CO0.33O2).This article describes the composition of gel polymer electrolyte, the method of preparation anddescription of the NMC electrode. The experiment is based on the measurement of capacity andimpedance at the beginning and at the end of the experiment at room temperature and at highertemperature 40 °C.

Polymers And Copolymers For Gel Polymer Electrolytes Usable In Electrochemical Current Sources
Peterová, Soňa
This paper deals with description of preparation and use of polymers and copolymers for gel polymer electrolytes usable in electrochemical current sources. Theoretical part of this paper describes electrolytes focused on gel electrolytes. Experimental part deals with sample composition of gel electrolytes, preparation of samples and evaluation of measured samples. Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV) and Potentiostatic Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (PEIS) were used for evaulation of samples.

Effect of quorum sensing compounds on yeasts.
Peterová, Soňa ; Buchta, Vladimír (advisor) ; Vejsová, Marcela (referee)
Farnesol is an isoprenoid alcohol produced by yeast Candida albicans. It is a quorum sensing factor, that is effective on morphology of this yeast. The effect depends on environmental conditions and on the size of the yeast population at the same time. Our study was focused on the influence of farnesol on seven strains of C. albicans - CA RVVK 8797, CA RVVK 26 580, CA VVK 25 188, CA VVK 26 736, CA 26 453/00, CA 26 677/00 and ATCC 90028. Our results confirmed, that farnesol inhibits germ tube formation in C. albicans. In addition we marked that the sensitivity to farnesol is strain-dependent. For example strain VVK 25 188 reacted on presence of exogenous farnesol very slightly, on the other hand another strains were influenced very distinctively. The effect of farnesol was highly influenced by medium used for the experiment. The inhibition of germination was less apparent in medium NYP than in precolostral serum. The size of inoculum also influenced the results of experiments with external added farnesol. The results of experiments with 10 5 cfu/ml inoculum were very similar to results of experiments with inoculum of size 10 6 cfu/ml. When the 10 7 cfu/ml inoculum was used, we observed the effect of exogenous and endogenous farnesol at the same time and the inhibition of germination was more expressive.
