Eating habits of children

My bachelor work deals with the problems of children obesity. I mention the definition of obesity, BMI, children obesity consequences, food pyramid, drinking habits and movement activity of children in the theoretical part. Further I analyse psychological aspects of children obesity, the personality of an obese child and behaviour disorders of obeze children. In the empirical part I describe the process of doing my research. At the same time I compare the answers of children from primary school and secondary school. I examined the children from primary school using narrative analysis while with the children from secondary school I led a half structured conversation. All in all 36 children from primary school and 11 children from secondary school took part in my research. I deal with questions of popularity of meals, regularity of eating and also how children spend their leisure time. The end of my work is devoted to the evaluation of it.
Nurse education in Czech republic and in Switzerland

The aim of this bachelor work is to compare the quality, the level and the system of the nurse education in Czech republic and in Switzerland. In the theoretic part is described the graduate end continual education for this profession, its history, ways of control of the education and the system of the mutual recognition. The research part of this work is concerned with the evaluation and interpretation of the results acquired in the opinion poll among czech and swiss students and nurses. Further is separately discussed the opinion of expert teachers.
Awareness of home nursing agencies

The bachelor's thesis reports about home nursing. Agencies offered the home nursing work successfully many years and meet many satisfied clients. Regardless the awareness of this nursing activity is not at such level, which it rates. The thesis familiarise with the history, forms, the activity and the importance of the home nursing. The nursing process is a significant activity of a nurse in the home nursing. The behaviour and the method of communication between the nurse and the patient significantly influence the information factor in the home nursing. Focus of the thesis lies in a quantitative exploratory survey about the awareness of the agencies offered the home nursing. The survey is specifically based on findings of knowledge in four groups. The firs group is represented by the nurses worked in various departments of the Regional Hospital in Pardubice. The second group is represented by the patients hospitalized in departments of the Regional Hospital in Pardubice. The third group is represented by the clients of agencies offered the home nursing in Pardubice. The fourth group is represented by the inhabitant of Pardubice city.
Admission of parents with their ill child to hospital from nurse's point of view

The goal of bachelor's thesis is to present the problems of parents staying together with their ill child in hospital. It emphasizes on child's psychical needs influenced by illness, especially on need to have around a person he or she knows well to provide him or her the emotional support and comfort, especially when being taken away from his or her usual environment. A qvantitative research was carried out how nursing staff from paediatric wards of three Faculty Hospitals in Prague. The research vas focused on how nurses accept parents or adults accompanying a child, the most common problems, the staff knowledge of the therm family- centred care, cooperation with play therapists, volunteers or psychologist and also how the Chart of hospitalized children is respected.
Burnout

Key words: burnout, stress, medical personnel, pedagogic personnel, burnout prevention Baccalaureate thesis deals with burnout of medical and pedagogic personnel. It refers to symptoms, incidence and prevention of burnout and compares burnout incidence among both the groups, respectively. Thesis is divided in theoretic and experimental part. Surveyed sample is formed by pedagogic personnel, medical personnel of district nurse, psychiatric department nurse and remedial gymnast. Stress is put on the accompanying signs and factors of the burnout.

In the opening part are described beliefs about the quality of life in general and factors which affect it. The following part contains social aspects of of nursing as a profession in the history, the beginning of Czech nursing education. There are also described working conditions, a nursing uniform formation. In the empiric part were set down goals and related appropriate hypothesis.Two questionnaires were made - for nurses and family members .The results were recorded into charts and graphs. The main task in the empiric part was to authenticate the correctness of the hypothesis and fulfilling the given goals. One of the main goals was to find out how the nursing carrer affects her personal life.

The banchelor research in theoretical part describes the concepts of health, illness, it outlines a psychology of a person, a psychology of an ill person and a medic. The belongines of human being and some obstacles in perception and reactions of a medic as a patient are here highlighted. The banchelor research describes in quantitative investigation the common nurses view of perception of illnesses, experience in a role of patient and their reaction to this role, it describes the attitude of medics towards medics in the role of patient. The research aimed to work out how the medics react on the presence of illnesses, the change of the role and which attitude of medics suits them the most and which attitude they would prefere.
