Measurement and creation of the thematic map for a check in the locality of Brno – Všetičkova street
Pavlíková, Michaela ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Foral, Jakub (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the geodetic survey and subsequent preparation of the special purpose map of Všetičkova Street in the cadastral district of Stránice in the city of Brno. The resulting map meets the criteria of the third accuracy class. In the S-JTSK coordinate system, in the BPV height system and with the scale of 1:500, it can be used to check the Digital Map of Brno.
Design of optimization of extrusion process control tests
Pavlíková, Michaela ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The master´s thesis is focused on the optimization of extrusion process control tests. The practise was performed at Fraenkiche CZ s.r.o., which is a company specialising in plastic tubes and components. The aim of the master´s thesis is to analyse the current state of the specific issue, systematically analyse the topic, statistically analyse and discuss the results and propose a new method of extrusion process control tests with my recommendation for practise. The introduction forms a preview into the quality management, plastic materials and processing of them. The practical part contains an analysis of the company and their production process. This information was helpful to the design of a list of control tests. With the help of basic quality tools, I prepared a new design of a list of control tests. The basic statistical processing showed an evaluation of finance savings. In the final part I evaluated the results and proposed several recommendations for improving current processes in the company.
Costs of low kvality
Pavlíková, Michaela ; Maradová, Karla (referee) ; Rozehnalová, Jana (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is area of costs for non-conforming products in industrial company. The aim of the bachelor thesis is a system analysis of the current state of the specific issues and a proposal to create a system for monitoring the cost of low quality in manufacturing proces. Some preview into quality management is itemized in the introductory part. I also describe the management of nonconforming products, with which I was able to analyze the collected data and develop a solution in the final part. Next I did an analysis of the company FRAENKISCHE CZ s.r.o. and I did an analysis of cost of low quality in this company. The data obtained from the cost analysis I proceed with the help of quality tools and I was carried out their evaluation. In the final part I evaluated the results and proposed several recommendations for improving current processes in the company.

Immunomodulatory properties of mesenchymal stem cells - use in therapy
Pavlíková, Michaela ; Krulová, Magdaléna (advisor) ; Stříž, Ilja (referee)
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) are extensively studied mainly due to their feasible clinical application. Therapeutic potential of MSC consists not only of the ability to differentiate into mesenchymal cells, ectodermal and endodermal cell lines, but primarily in their immunomodulatory functions. Due to their effect on immune cells, MSC promote the shift of the inflammatory immune response to antiinflammatory. The ability to suppress inflammation, together with their differentiation potential and antiapoptotic potential on the surrounding cells makes MSC a promising tool for treating serious diseases. This work discusses the effect of MSC on the individual cells of the immune system. It focuses on the description of the effect of MSC in four model cases. These are an experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis, myocardial infarction, diabetes mellitus and skin graft transplantation. The knowledge of the mechanisms of the interactions between MSC and the cells of the immune system, together with the understanding the effect of specific conditions on MSC is essential for their use in clinical therapy. The role of selected cell populations and molekules in inflammatory reaction and rejection of skin allograft
Pavlíková, Michaela ; Krulová, Magdaléna (advisor) ; Čečrdlová, Eva (referee)
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) represent a heterogenous population of multipotent stem cells that can be isolated from various tissues of adult organism. Due to their immunomodulatory, antiapoptotic, cytoprotective and differentiation capabilities, MSC hold a great promise for treatment of many inflammatory diseases and for use in regenerative medicine. We aimed to analyze the therapeutic effect of MSC in a model of skin transplantation. In our research, nanofiber scaffolds were used for application of MSC. Allogeneic skin grafts were transplanted from C57BL/6 mice to BALB/c mice and they were subsequently covered with nanofiber scaffolds prepared from poly-L-lactic acid (PLA) by the original needleless electrospun Nanospider technology. Some animals remained untreated, others were treated by specific therapies that combined usage of nanofiber scaffolds with cultivated MSC and nanofiber scaffolds with or without incorporated cyclosporin A (CsA). We used various methods, including FACS analysis, ELISA, PCR, immunohistochemistry and Griess reaction to determine effect of MSC on immune response. It has been reported that MSC home preferentially to sites of inflammation within damaged tissues and can be localised also in lymphatic organs. Six days after transplantation and local MSC application we...

Forms of partner cohabitation and modern communication technologies
Pavlíková, Michaela ; Skupnik, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Štěpánová, Irena (referee)
This study represents an analysis of contemporary theories examining new forms of partnership, in particular LAT (living apart together) and LDR (long-distance relationship). The author of the study is searching for reasons behind the increase of these forms of relationships, including less strict social norms and emphasis on individualism, but also the popularity of modern communication technologies, especially the internet. The specific features of cyberspace and CMC (computer mediated communication) are being considered, as they possibly facilitate the relationship initiation and maintenance via computers. Non-residential cohabitation is presented in this study as a progressively common alternative to more traditional forms of partner cohabitation.
