Title: Problematics/Issues of transgender athletes in performance and elite sports Author: Bc. Matyáš Kubů Objectives: To comprehensively analyse the issue of transgender athletes from the perspective of fairness and inclusivity in sport and from the perspective of their potential sporting advantage or disadvantage. To present eligibility rules in selected sports and propose rule changes to increase the possibility of fair inclusion of trans athletes. Methods: Review of literature and scientific articles relevant to the topic. Compilation of different views on the topic and subsequent synthesis of the findings to propose the inclusion of transgender athletes in sport. Application of the knowledge gained to current sporting practice and development of proposals for recategorisation and appropriate inclusion of transgender athletes in selected sports. Conclusion: The issue of transgender athletes is a very important topic that needs to be subjected to a long series of researches, both empirical and analytical-philosophical, in order to unravel the overall complexity of the problem and reach a satisfactory conclusion. Effect of covid measures on children's physical activity and sport

Title: Effect of covid measures on children's physical activity and sport Objectives: The primary objective of this study is to describe the impact of the anti- epidemic measures introduced in the context of the Covid pandemic on physical activity and sport among children aged 11-15 years living in Prague. Methods: The main method used to meet the objective was an electronic questionnaire based on a search of sources related to the issue. This questionnaire was used to collect primary data, which were then analysed using simple statistical methods and interpreted. Results: Both negative and positive effects of the Covid pandemic on physical activity and sport in children and adolescents have been identified. Among the negative ones are the observed decrease in the physical condition of individuals and the decline in their interest and activity in the physical activity groups organised by the school and the sports clubs with which they regularly participate in competitions. On the other hand, the positive effects were a rise in interest and activity in clubs with which they do not participate in competitions, as well as physical activities with family and physical activities they do alone or with friends. Title: Tibetan curing system of Kum Nye and the possibilities of its application Objectives: The aim of this work is to present a comprehensive view of the Tibetan healing system called Kum Nye. The first part introduces Buddhism as the general basis of Kum Nye, some other basic spiritual principles, the historical background of Kum Nye, and the relationships between these three bases of Kum Nye. The aim of the second part is to explain the therapeutic effect of the system and to present ways of its practice, which are specially modified for the mentality and the way of life of Western society by the Tibetan lama Targhang Tulku. This part is enriched by the author's personal experience from a course of Kum Nye. The concluding part of the work sums up the salient aspects of Kum Nye, presents possibilities for its use, critically evaluates the therapeutic effects and limitations of the system, and makes suggestions for further research. Title: Taoism and health: selected aspects Objectives: The first objective of this thesis is to present and interpret Taoist way of thinking with a special emphasis on its teachings regarding health. The second objective is to presents selected aspects of this 'spiritual philosophy' and its health benefits (nutrition, fasting, breathing and physical exercises and others) and tests them against currently available scientific studies. The prolonged goal would be to point out methods which complement the techniques and processes of western health care systems. The third objective examines the legislative situation in the Czech elementary education system regarding the health education topic and beneficial effect of Taoist methods to use. Methods: This master thesis is purely theoretical, focusing on the analysis of primary and secondary source material with continuous and subsequent synthesis. These methods have been complemented with compilation and comparative methods. Results: Based on the available source material, the Taoist way of thinking has been presented including his approach to health.
