Use of Social Media in Marketing Communication of Selected Company

The diploma thesis describes the issue of using social networks of a selected com-pany in marketing communication. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current situation in the company and to suggest a new solution, the marketing tools, which the company can use in the future. The first part summarizes the issues of marke-ting communication, marketing and communication mix and social networks. The analytical part includes analysis of the internal and external environment, analysis of the competitive position of the company, as well as SWOT analysis. The final proposal then explores the communication channels currently in use and shows new possibilities for using communication channels along with the expected costs.
The impact of smoking on women's health from a midwife student's point of view.

The thesis describes the influence of smoking on the health of women from the viewpoint of students of midwifery. Because of the topic is in the theoretical part described health, educational activity of a midwife, nicotine addiction and negative effects of smoking on health of women. In the research two objectives were specified. The first was to find out if the students of midwifery educate women about healthy lifestyle during their studies. The second objective focused on the stance taken by students of midwifery on women addicted to nicotine. With these objectives were asked two research questions. The first research question was finding out how students of midwifery educate women about healthy lifestyle. The second research question found out how students of midwifery look at women addicted to nicotine. The thesis research was conducted in the home environment of the students of midwifery during the month April in the year 2019. To conduct this research a qualitative method was chosen. The gathering of data was conducted using semi-structured interviews. The selection criteria were students of midwifery. The interviews were recorded and literally rewritten based on previous agreement with the consent of all the students which were previously introduced to the topic and research objectives of the thesis and informed about the usage of data only for the thesis with keeping their anonymity. Further the students who participated in the research given their approval to the data gathering while recording the interviews for which 17 research questions were defined. If needed, complementary questions were asked. For keeping anonymity, the students were marked S1-S8. The gathered data were processed using the method "pen and paper" and then coded with colors. Based on the analysis two main categories and their subcategories were created. The first main category is the Problematics of Smoking which has 6 subcategories: The Stance Taken by Students to Women Addicted to Nicotine, The Effects of Smoking on the Pregnancy and the Fetus, The Source of Information about the Negative Effects of Smoking during Studies, Passive Smoking, Realizing the Dangers of Smoking. As the second main category was fixed the category Education again with 6 subcategories: Healthy Lifestyle, The Source of Information about the Negative Effects of Smoking, Education of Women, Education of Women by Students of Midwifery, Realizing the Addiction to Smoking. The research shown that some students have knowledge about healthy lifestyle and know how to educate women about it. Some students would educate them in the way that would lead them to regular physical activity, keeping drinking regime, eating enough fruit and vegetables. Furthermore, the students would recommend women to get enough rest, consuming alcohol only is small amount and keeping in mind to care about their mental health and relaxation. Every one of the students named at least one of the listed recommendations, but not all students educate women. In the research was also found out that two students do not educate women at all. They said that they do not have competences, or that the education is not that important. The second research question found out the stance taken by students of midwifery on women addicted to nicotine. Students had negative opinions about women - smokers, but some of the students said that this problematic is not connected with them at all and that they do not care about those women.

Integrační tendence v Eurasijském svazu

Medková, K., Integration tendencies in the Eurasian economic union. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2009. This bachelor thesis deals with new Eurasian Economic Union. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the integration potential of the Union with regarding possible future introduction of a common currency. The first section of the thesis summarizes the issue of regional integration, The Optimum Currency Area and includes a theoretic outline of the Eurasian Economic Union. In the second section of the thesis, the synchronization of business cycles of the member states is depicted. Furthermore, this section compares the economics of the aforementioned states, focusing on the trade and industry aspects. Based on this knowledge, the assessment of the economics of the Union member states is compared to a similar assessment of the European Union.
The regional integration of developing countries

The thesis surveys the formation, development and the present state of integration process in the three developing world regions -- Latin America, Africa and Asia and the Pacific -- as one of the most significant processes of the world economy since the end of the last century. The first part of the opening chapter presents the issues of regionalism, the second one presents the issues of the developing world. The objective of the thesis is to point out the differences in processes of the international economic integration in the three developing regions, in terms of both historical point of view and motives and factors influencing the integration initiatives in developing countries. In that case the individual chapters analyze motives for integration and disintegration, affecting the formation and development of integration processes in each developing region, and present the first attempts to integration in the area as well as the overall development of regional integration as a whole. Finally, the chapters list current regional groupings, focusing on the degree of integration achieved and the set, respectively achieved, objectives.
Environmental Problems in Europe in Relation to the Environmental Policy of the European Union

This thesis deals with certain environmental problems in Europe and with attempts to solve these environmental problems within the framework of the European Union. The purpose of this work is to make its readers acquainted with the scope of the EU environmental policy and Community legislation on the protection of the environment. The thesis is focused on four main subject-matters: (i) climate change as a consequence of the global warming process, (ii) air pollution and the ozone layer depletion, (iii) water contamination and (iv) soil degradation. The issue which of the environmental problems require a regional approach and which a global approach is also considered in the thesis.
The Free Trade Agreements between the EU and the ACP States

This thesis surveys the history, development and the present state of trade relations between the European Union and the developing world, represented in this case by the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP). It primarily explains why the EU has such close relations with these countries. The thesis analyzes the types of agreements that fostered current relations between the EU and the ACP over recent years which were, in part, based upon trading options offered during former times. The thesis also seeks to explain why the standing agreements had to be replaced and what problems arose from their respective negotiations. Last but not least, the thesis describes the present state of trade relations between the EU and the ACP States and presents the current free trade agreements and the specifics.
Ecological Problems of Europe in Connection with the Ecological Policy of the European Union

Bakalářská práce se zabývá ekologickými problémy a ekologickou politikou Evropské unie. Jejím cílem je zmapovat ekologické problémy v Evropě, přiblížit činnost evropských ekologických institucí, zpřehlednit zásady fungování politiky EU a odůvodnit potřebnost tuto politiku dále rozvíjet. Práce se zaměřuje také na otázky, jaký má ekologická politika na úrovni EU smysl, zda je dostatečně efektivní, jaké jsou její slabé stránky, zda dokáže přispět k odvrácení nebo alespoň oddálení ekologických katastrof a zajistit dlouhodobý kvalitní život na Zemi.
Social and economical analysis of the housing development South Moravia region

Diplomová práce sociální a ekonomická analýza rozvoje bydlení Jihomoravského kraje je zaměřena na bydlení a bytovou infrastrukturu kraje. Cílem práce je provést systémový rozbor bytové výstavby v kraji a analyzovat stav bytového a domovního fondu včetně jeho vývoje a struktury bydlení. Bydlení je zvláštní specifikum lidského života a nedílnou součástí ekonomiky státu. Jedná se o potřebu, která je pro člověka nezastupitelná a pokud si ji člověk vlastními silami nedokáže obstarat sám, přichází na pomoc stát. Počáteční část práce je věnována charakteristice a demografickému vývoji kraje. Hlavní blok se zabývá analýzou bytového a domovního fondu, kde jsou vysvětleny i kvalitativní a kvantitativní znaky úrovně bydlení včetně bytové výstavby v kraji. Tato kapitola je úzce provázána s navazující kapitolou sociální spekty bydlení, kde je zmíněno o právu na bydlení, významu sociálního bydlení zejména z hlediska dostupnosti bydlení pro mladé začínající rodiny. Závěr práce formuluje cíle vhodné pro kraj a možná opatření v jednotlivých oblastech bydlení.
