Práce je zaměřena na dobu před nástupem Rudolfa II. Zde jsem nastínil stav českého království, postavení nekatolíků v Čechách a boj o Českou konfesi. Abych čtenáře seznámil s tehdejší politickou a náboženskou situací, je také důležité je seznámit s výchovou a vladařskými začátky Rudolfa II. Ve druhé části jsem se snažil popsat průběh zápasu o Majestát a komplikace, které ho doprovázely. Moje práce zahrnula popis náboženské a politické situace v Čechách, od druhé poloviny 16. století, až po Bílou horu. Pro práci jsem použil odbornou literaturu, slovníky a některé vydané historické prameny.

The phenomenon of pilgrimage at the dawn of the Czech reformation Mgr. Aleš Mrázek Dissertation examines the phenomenon of pilgrimage in the Czech lands in the Middle Ages, in particular during the reign of Charles IV from the House of Luxembourg and his son Wenceslas IV. The issue is researched in a broad theological, ideological and political context, putting all findings into general context of religious life of the period. Even though the examined period is continuous in terms of time, it poses an era of certain historic turn. Because of that it was possible to explore the issue of pilgrimage in connection with fundamental social and religious changes and gradually rising ideological conflicts. Boom of religious life forms was distinctive to the era of reign of Charles IV. Spectacular religious ceremonials were an integral part of his monarchical representation. Pilgrimage also had a crucial role in this ideological concept.

The work deals with the life, reign of Emperor Justinian I. He also changes that during his government has made this emperor. It mentions Justin's and Justinian's journey for a new job in the city of Constantinopole and where Justin managed to become from an uneducated military commander to an emperor. Justinian's path to power and achievement of a good education in contrast was simpler. Slowly, Justinian's personal and imperial life will be discussed as well as his extensive activities in the field of law and certainly it cannot be unmentioned his extensive building activity. It refers to natural disasters and other complications that affected Constantinople during the Emperor's government. Justitian is known for extensive bulding activity on which can be seen the evolution of Byzantine art. Whether it is a mosaic, specific type of architecture or iconic art. Therefore, furthermore work devoted to Byzantine Art that just for that era achieves its heyday. The aim is to familiarize the reader with the life and work of the Emperor Justinian I, as well as art that in Justinian's era reached its golden age. SUMMARY: The Charitable And Social Activities Of The Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem. Erik Trnčák The current form of the Order's knights is logically different than their brothers's one in The Middle Ages. They do not use sheilds and swords anymore, or even dress in armor for fight, but their spirituality has not changed during nine hundred years of the Order's duration. One of the knight's virtues has always been guarding the weak and helpless. The main purpose of the knights of the saint Lazarus Order has always been helping and guarding those who are already on death's border, even if it meant being in great danger of contracting the infection. In the Middle Ages, the main enemy of saint Lazarus knights was the life-threatening disease of leprosy, which almost never occurs in Europe to this day. The Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem still supports leprosariums and hospitals in developing countries, by providing them with necessary material and financial help. The Order also sent specialists to help the places that were affected by catastrophes. Nowadays, the Lazarians's main enemy is cancer, which consumes millions of human lives every year all around the world.
