Differences and Similarities between TSTS Model Therapy and Supervision.

Bc. Hedvika Kubicová Černá UK FHS Fakulta humanitních studií 42245792 Abstract This thesis is focused on the application boundaries of the transformation systemic therapy in supervision. The review section describes the general background of the Satir model and the basis of therapy theory and supervision theory. It deals with the general level of therapy and supervision boundaries. The methodological part includes a description of the grounded theory used to obtain data from informants, supervisors working according to the TSTS model. In addition, a supplementary questionnaire quantitative survey was used to determine how supervisants who got an experience with therapy perceive the boundaries between the therapy and the supervision. The analytical part starts with providing the insight into how supervisors educated in the Growth model understand the differentiation of therapy and supervision boundaries and how they use the TSTS techniques. Further it is supplemented with our findings as to what supervisants expect to gain in supervision, and which methods they refuse and consider to cross the boundary between the therapy and supervision.
