A device for welding 3D printing filament
Roden, Lukáš ; Škaroupka, David (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with filament welding in 3D printers. During the print, there is often an extra part of the filament, that can be no longer used due to its small length. In this thesis I deal with the equipment construction for connecting these remnants of the cord or even longer pieces. In the first part is a search which deals with types of 3D printers, material of filaments and the issue of the welding process. In the second part, the acquired knowledge is used to create your own device design. More precisely, the analysis of the usability of individual materials and construction designs. In the last part I deal with a specific form solution of individual components.
Film Library
Nimizhan, Vladyslav ; Čekan, Ondřej (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is devoted to run film library. Users can manage databse of seen films and serials including ratings and notes. They can also add runntime of oncoming episodes to calendar. User gets notifications about planned episodes on their device synchronised with calendar. By designing of the aplication user interface and and intuitive interface was very important. Result of this work is an application implemented in PHP 5.6 with use of framework Nette.
Accelerated Neural Networks on GPU
Tomko, Martin ; Zachariášová, Marcela (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the implementation of an application for artificial neural networks simulation and acceleration using a graphics processing unit. The computation and training of feedforward neural networks using the Backpropagation algorithm are the main focus of this thesis, but the application also supports other network types, and it makes it possible to extend the application with different training algorithms. Next, the application allows us to create neural networks with structural anomalies, and thus, to test the neural network's fault tolerance. The application is implemented in the C++ language, using OpenCL to manage GPU computation. The Backpropagation acceleration results were compared with the free open source library FANN.
Design of outdoor furniture from polymer concrete
Petlachová, Alena ; Haltof, Vladimír (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is to design a set of garden furniture made by robotic 3D printing technology from the Polybet material. Polybet is a modern material consisting of a binder made from recycled thermoplastics and a filler made from crushed waste glass or other materials. The main challenges of the project are the manufacturability by 3D printing method and the ergonomics of the furniture. Based on a design and technical analysis, the first version has been designed and has been further modified into the final form according to the results of the ergonomic studies. The set consists of two types of benches. First one is bench with a backrest designed for sitting or lying down and the second one is bench without a backrest designed for seating a larger number of people. The bench with a backrest offers the possibility of mirroring the same shape and thus increasing the number of pieces in the set to three. All the pieces are manufacturable and they do meet the basic ergonomic requirements.
Qt Based Programming Editor for Linux Systems
Hauerland, Richard ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
Objective of this Bachelor's Thesis is about design and implementation of free text editor designed for Linux. Comparison of most popular existing solutions was performed before the design and it's output serves as basis for design process. Functionalities not provided and behaviors provided only by some, mostly proprietary, solutions, were taken in account in editor design. As well functionalities for projects manipulation used in development environments were considered. Editor is implemented in C++ language with use of Qt Framework.
Various File Systems Used on Different Storage Devices
Bortlová, Pavlína ; Krčma, Martin (referee) ; Lojda, Jakub (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with storing data on various storage devices, namely on the HDD, SSD, flash drives, SD cards. In the teoretical part are discussed principles of functions storage media and data storage structure through various file system. In the practical part was measured read and write speeds selected combinations of file systems (FAT, NTFS, XFS, ext4, btrfs, exFAT, JFFS, F2FS) and storage devices (HDD, SSD, flash drive, sd card).
Questa inFact Capabilities Demonstration Set
Fodor, Dušan ; Krčma, Martin (referee) ; Zachariášová, Marcela (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with presentation of working with platform Questa inFact from Mentor Graphics company. In introduction, teoretical information about verication itself is provided and several verication methods are introduced. Teoretical part is followed by examples of usage Questa inFact tool for coverage driven verication and contains set of demonstational samples.
Acceleration of Neural Networks in FPGA
Krčma, Martin ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kaštil, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with an acceleration of neural networks, which are implemented into the fi eld programmable gate arrays. Two di fferent hardware implementation are presented and compared with each other and confronted with the software implementation. The tools for easy implementation of neural networks in FPGAs are introduced.
Design of linear clock with LED digital scale
Javorský, Dominik ; Krčma, Martin (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and production of linear clocks with LED digital scale by 3D printing. The beginning of the work gives an overview of existing structural design and also a brief overview of today's electronic components used in the creation of linear clocks. In the following part, the work deals with the design and production of linear clocks. The output of the work is a functional model that satisfy the requirements of scale with a range of 12 hours and a resolution of 5 minutes. The work also contains drawing documentation of the assembly, selected components and software used to control linear clock.
Application of Machine Learning Algorithms for the Generation of Checking Circuits
