The Comparison of Selected Social Movement Organizations

Title of the Bachelor's Thesis: Comparison of Selected Social Movement Organizations Abstract: This bachelor thesis compares the social movement organizations on the basis of the resource mobilization theory. In relation to the resources, organizations use various strategies. Aim of this thesis is to identify similarities and differences in the strategies that organization use in relation to selected resources. This thesis focuses on material resources, human resources and the Internet. The theoretical part introduces the issue of civil society and civil society organizations. The largest part is devoted to the theory of resource mobilization, including the specification of individual types of resources and followed by a description of selected organization strategies. In the empirical part is made a comparative analysis of selected social movement organizations. To achieve the objective it was chosen a method of semi-structured interviews with representatives of selected organizations. Analysis of Happiness Management in Organizations in the Czech Republic Bc. Marie Kotálová Abstract: The objective of this thesis is to analyse the forms of happiness management in the Czech republic, focusing on the activities and competencies of happiness managers. Firstly, the premises and psychological origins of happiness management in organisations are discussed. Then, the implementation of happiness management into a business setting is scrutinised, its goals and tools, with due attention given to happiness managers and the position they occupy within their respective organisations. The paper includes a qualitative study in select Czech organisations, which have introduced the position of a happiness manager. A semi-structured interview with these very managers was the method of choice. The aim of the study is the cataloguing and comparison of various happiness management forms; happiness manager activities and responsibilities, as well as their qualifications and competency profiles within the selected organisations.
