The neolithic site Tuchlovice, distr. of Kladno

The submitted work deals with processing of primarily neolithic settlement material from the archaeological research in Tuchlovice cadaster. The research led by M. Buchvaldek took place in 1960. The excavated settlement was dated to the III. degree of the Linear Pottery culture and to the II.-III. degree of the Stroked Pottery culture. One object belonged to jordanov culture period. Continuity of habitation cannot be proved, which may be caused by the limited scale of the research that couldn't explore the whole settlement. On the contrary we must admit the possibility that presented site formed part of a larger neolithic settlement area together with settlements explored earlier in the southwestern direction.
