The aim of the bachelor thesis was to design a new industrial production hall for the production of aquariums for the company Akváriá Pavlica in Horní Heršpice. This project is based on an architectural study, which was developed within the subject AG035. The area of interest is located in the city part of Brno, Horní Heršpice. The plot is located at the edge of the suburban part of the city near the railway station. The building is located in the centre of the plot and is accessible by sidewalks for pedestrians, access roads with parking for cars and a bus, and a road with a handling area for trucks. Part of the design of the production hall was also the design of a water area on the plot, which would serve for representative purposes. The mass of the building consists of six trapezoidal modular blocks stacked together. The roof pitch and the leaning walls create a dynamic shape. The building envelope consists of sandwich panels and a glazed facade made of triple insulation glass, which together provide thermal insulation to the interior. The glass facade illuminates the exhibition and administrative area. The building is divided into four zones: the public zone, the production zone, the administrative zone and the technical building equipment zone. The interior partitions are made of lime-sand blocks, but the main supporting system of the building is a reinforced concrete skeletal structure. On pillars are placed steel trusses that support the roof structure. The roof surface is designed as a vegetation area and there are placed photovoltaic panels.

The solved plots are gradually sloping towards the southwest. the investor demands designing of a production wine hall with at least six tanks and storage facilities. furthermore, the assignment to create 10 double accommodation units, a social room for private events and a public representation part. The building compactly combines three functions together to minimize heat loss, but at the same time it uses three different access areas: public, private and industrial. The construction respects the surrounding terrain in its shape and retains rainwater on green roofs or in the storage tank. The material solution of the exterior is based on trapeze sheet ventilated facade of white color and a reflective glass surface. the interior is industrially designed. concrete and ceramic surfaces are aesthetically visible. Technical distributions are run on the surface of structures. Generally It is dominated by concrete, ceramic surfaces and stainless or galvanized steel elements.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design of a new-build property of Vinařství Marcinčák in the village of Novosedly. The thesis is based on a study drawn up in the subject AG032 - Ateliér architektonické tvorby. The designed building is situated in the Stará hora area. This area belongs to the village of Novosedly in the Břeclav district. The building is projected on the very top of Stará hora on a sloping estate. The building consists of two levels. On the extensive underground level, which is partially sunken in the slope, can be found the production, a presentation room, technical and sanitary facilities, storeroom, the caretaker’s flat and accommodation for 20 people. On the above-ground level can be found the presentation room, catering, sanitary facilities for visitors and a roofed terrace. The construction system is combined. The underground level has vertical construction partly bricked from ceramic ground blocks and partly concrete monolithic insulated with extruded polystyrene. The ceiling construction above the underground level is made of wooden glue laminated beams, which are a part of the roofing structure. The roof of the building on the above-ground level is created by saddle roofs. In one part of the underground level the roof is a flat green roof, which is drained with an internal drainage system. The whole building is based on a concrete base slab reinforced with welded wire mesh. The facade is a combination of stone cladding and a suspended wooden facade made of burnt larch.
Purposeful updating of a set of historical objects

This diploma thesis deals with the design for the restoration of the former granary and sheepfold in the monastery complex of Porta Coeli, Předklášteří near the city of Tišnov. When conducting the architectural study, it was necessary to analyze and take into account the cultural-historical values of the monastery, its premises and its immediate surroundings, plus the structural-technical condition of the monastery complex and public functions in the vicinity. The basic idea underpinning the design was to create a place where people would gather and this bring life to the monastery grounds. Therefore the former sheepfold becomes s multifunctional hall where celebrations, weddings, corporate events can be staged in addition to municipal functions. In close proximity to the sheepfold there is the granary for which the design includes a puppet theatre and the upper floors to be used for hotel accommodation. These design features combine to create an environment that encourages people to frequent and use the monastery grounds Porta Coeli.
Urban study of development area Vítkovice - Moravská Ostrava
Fišerová, Anna ; Klement, Miloš (referee) ; Sátora, Josef (advisor)
'The inspiration behind this project is the new urbanist idea which combines residential development with green spaces for leisure and sport as well as mixed use commercial areas and storage. The layout of the area is a grid formed by 100m squared plots with residential houses with personal yards. These plots are grouped as complexes and between each complex is a communal green space. On the outside of the inner grid, there are mixed use apartment buildings and a high commercial floor. The square is dominated by a smaller multi-purpose building with a fluid outside space in which community events can be organized. Diagonally connected to the square is a park with a playground and an area with patio seating in addition to three villa houses. The park leads to the river embankment, into which tiered seating will be created. Around the hotel, there is another park with a multi-generational playground. In the northern part is located hotel renovated from the original industrial buildings with added ground floor restaurant area. Around hotel there is a park with green space and multi-generational playground. The terrace houses are located in the northeastern part of the complex and feature an attractive riverside view. Row houses line the the main road and are buffered from street noise by a line of trees. Typology and placement of other, separate houses is inspired by colonies of worker-houses eg. Baťa houses in Zlín. In between each ground these is no fence and are only separated a slight depression in the green.
TOWNHOUSE ON THE WATERFRONT IN PŘEROV
Křivinková, Tereza ; Klement, Miloš (referee) ; Pelčák, Petr (advisor)
Architectural and urban design is flowing from the structure of the buildings on Brabansko Street. Dwelling house with a commercial ground-floor and underground parking concur the mass of Sokol house. The house is moved 1m to the side of the street line in a lateral Malá Dlažka Street, which creates a possibility to have a wider pavement in the future. Architecturally, there is a clear diversity between public and private parts of the house. Upper floors are determinated for dwelling by a large horizontal stay loggie towards the street side and by unclosed balcony towards the court side. Both are placed along the length of the house and glassed as much as possible. The house is open to the view on the historic city and the river Bečva as well as to the inner garden. By contrast the ground floor is higher and fully glassed in a vertical direction. The corner situation is drawn out by a console of dwelling floors overlapping above the round part and further a bit above the pavement. Entrance to the dwelling part naturally attracts to enter the house and the court behind it. There is enough space to room a terrace, in a summer time, for a café placed inside the round shape on the ground floor. Commercial units are completely independent on the other functions. The house by its variability creates a possibility for a sustainable town house.

Okounová, Kateřina ; Klement, Miloš (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis was the elaboration of an architectural study and the design of a new use of historical buildings in the Porta Coeli complex in Předklášteří near Tišnov. The study addresses the main building of the granary, where new short-term accommodation, wellness for hotel guests, a dining room and a café with seating for the public are designed. There is also a rentable lounge at the back of the building. The newly designed hotel respects the historical significance of the building. Wooden columns are left in the interior and stone chambers on the façade around the entire perimeter of the building. The vaults are a significant feature of the first floor. The second building, which is also part of the design, is the former sheepfold building. Here is a multifunctional rentable hall that can be used for various celebrations or weddings. Inside the building, there is a snack bar, facilities and a bar for staff, offices, technical rooms and warehouses are designed. Toilets, a cloakroom and a separate hall with an inner podium for social events are open to the public. On the second floor of this building is a possibility of sitting with a view of the podium. The original wooden trusses are left in the building and a large feature is the wooden gate with stone lining, which gives the building a historic look. The design also includes solutions for exterior landscaping, new parking capacities, paved areas and the use of a watercourse near the sheepfold building. The two buildings are closely related in their functions, but the height levels are very different here. The connection is therefore connected by outdoor stairs, residential stairs and ramps for easy public access.
