Determining floor flatness using laser scanning

The aim of the diploma thesis was to determine the flatness of the floor using two methods, levelling and laser scanning, their subsequent comparison and evaluation of differences between them. The thesis deals mainly with laser scanning and namely the used scanner and the software for point cloud processing. Furthermore, there is a compilation of existing technical standards dealing with this topic.
Sensor Calibration for Multispectral Data Fusion in Mobile Robotics

Thesis deals with data fusion and calibration of sensory system of Orpheus-X3 robot and EnvMap mapping robot. These robots are parts of Cassandra robotic system that is used for exploration of hazardous or inaccessible areas. Corrections of measured distances are determined for used laser scanners Velodyne HDL-64, Velodyne HDL-32 and range camera SwissRanger SR4000. Software MultiSensCalib has been created and is described. This software is used for determination of intrinsic parameters of heterogeneous cameras of the sensory head and for determination of mutual position and orientation of these sensors. Algorithm for data fusion of CCD camera stereo pair, thermal imager stereo pair and range camera is proposed. Achieved calibration and data-fusion parameters are evaluated by several experiments.
Creation of thematic map in the Moravian Karst

The main aim of this submitted bachelor thesis is to survey the Holštejn locality and creating its purpose map. In the field are measured elements of topography, elevation, above ground signs of utilities, field edges, entrances to caves. The work is drawn at a scale of 1:500. For the work are used methods: tacheometry by electronic rangefinders, traverse and GNSS. Purpose map is processed in a graphics program Microstation in electronic and paper form. Since this area has not yet been surveyed, this purpose map might serve as a basis for a protected landscape area and community.
Creation of 3D Model of the Church of St. Tomas Using Photogrammetric Method

The thesis deals with the 3D model creation of St. Thomas church in Brno. The close-range and aerial photogrametry were used for the model creation. Coordinate calculation of control points was created with use of a geodetic surveying and its processing. Software PhotoModeler Scanner, especially version 6 was also used for creation of three-dimensional church model.
Creation of thematic map in the Moravian Karst

Bachelor thesis deals with creation of thematic map in karst surface, specifically in the area of sagging Bílá voda brook to the cave Nová Rasovna. Location is situated in North – East part of the Moravian Karst. At the beginning it is necessary to create suitable surveying network, which was created by polygon two-side attached and two-side oriented. It was followed by tachometry survey of situation with generalization suitable to map scale 1:500 and 3th accuracy class and finally creation of contour lines. Survey of detail points of planimetry and altimetry parts was realized by the polar method and they were attached to system S-JTSK and Bpv. Graphic processing was realized in system Microstation. Thesis should be used as an accurate orientation in location and also for needs of administration of PLA Moravský kras.
Creation of 3D Model of the Church of St. Jakob Using Photogrammetric Method

Bachelor's thesis is focused on creation of 3D model of St. Jacob’ Church which is situated in the centre of Brno. The 3D model was created by combined method of aerial and close range photogrammetry. Ground control points and points that were used to determine accuracy of the model were obtained by geodetic surveying and further processing in software PhotoModeler Scanner 6. The resulting model was exported.

The aim of this thesis is to scan the part of the interior and exterior of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication building using the FARO Focus3D X 130 scanner, and the creation of a 3D model in the WGS 84 system. Subsequently, methods, status and utilization research of this technology and point cloud processing software is provided. The collected data are processed in the SCENE. Three-dimensional model is designed using the Pointfuse and Microstation V8i programs. In the end, the registration accuracy of the scans and the resulting 3D model accuracy are evaluated.

The bachelor thesis deals with the leisure activities of secondary school pupils. Final thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The objective of the theoretical part consists in defining the key theoretical concepts that relate to given topic. Written document forms part of the general characteristics of free time, features and aspects of leisure time, including barriers experiencing free time secondary school students, complemented by a brief development of leisure education. The theoretical part includes the use of appropriate methods as the study of professional literature sources, production of extracts and their analysis, synthesis and comparison. The objective of the practical part is the revelation of the current ratio of minors to the use of leisure time, implemented through a questionnaire survey of students at the third and fourth year at selected secondary schools. The observed data are evaluated by simple statistical methods, shown by graphs and tables. The results are used to capture the benefits of leisure activities conducted for students, approach range of activities, an explanation of respondent participation in specific activities.
