Condition of dorsoabdominal scent glands in adults of the true bugs from the taxon Pentatomomorpha (Heteroptera)
Křížková, Petra ; Vilímová, Jitka (advisor) ; Kment, Petr (referee)
Existence of larval dorsoabdominal scent glands (DAGs) together with occurence of adult metathoracic scent glands is one of the important autapomorphic characters of taxon Heteroptera within taxon Insecta. DAGs can persist until adults in some species of this taxon. The persistence of DAGs were proved also in members of infraorder Pentatomomorpha. Targets of this thesis are: collect the knowledge about persistent adult DAGs in selected representative members of important families of taxon Pentatomomorpha; study and compare the condition of the DAGs in the oldest larval instars and adults; clarify the significance of existence the openings of conducting ductules of proper glandular units in reservoir intima of DAGs in study of the persistence of these glands. For study were used stereomicroscope, light and scanning electron microscope. Key words: Pentatomomorpha, Heteroptera, dorsoabdominal scent glands, openings of conducting ductules of glandular units, larvae of 5th instar, persistence in adults, persistence patterns, light microscope, scanning electron microscope
Condition of the larval scent glands in adults of the Heteroptera infraorders
Křížková, Petra ; Vilímová, Jitka (advisor) ; Kment, Petr (referee)
The Heteroptera scent glands system is formed by larval dorso-abdominal glands (= DAGs) and adult metathoracic glands ( = MTGs). The present study deals with a summary about occurrence of DAGs which are functional not only in larval but also in adult bugs, either proved or very likely. The part of general characteristics includes information about morphology, histology and functions of DAGs. The systematic review of published cases of DAGs' persitence in the adult stage represents the main part of the study. Recapitulations about possible positions of adult persistent DAGs and the characters used to prove gland functionality conclude the study. Based on the list of persistent adult DAGs, it is evident that they can be functional more often than was supposed. The DAGs functionality within heteropteran adults seems to be relatively widespread phenomenon, particularly in regards to a life in terestrial environment.
Socialization of preschool children in homogeneous with heterogeneous groups in kindergarten
KŘÍŽKOVÁ, Petra
The bachelor thesis entitled Socialization of Preschool Children in Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Group in Kindergarten deals with the socialization of preschool children in homogeneous and heterogeneous groups of kindergartens. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. On the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes important concepts related to socialization, characteristics of homogeneous and heterogeneous groups and specifics of pre-school age. The practical part is focused on the discovery of differences in the socialization of preschool children in homogeneous and heterogeneous groups of kindergartens. The research is composed of two research methods, a questionnaire survey and a survey. The questionnaire survey examines the views of nursery school teachers on the different socialization of preschool children in a homogeneous and heterogeneous group, and the views of parents on these two different groups and the influence of these groups on the behavior of their child.

Senior citizens in residential institutions in Austria: Own perception of needs
KŘIŽKOVÁ, Petra
The thesis deals with subjective perception of needs of clients in residential institutions in Austria. The overview part describes important concepts of old age and the issues and the process of aging, further it describes ways of adaptation to old age, forms of activisation of seniors and the topic of human needs of elderly people. Theoretical basis of the work is typology of needs by A. Maslow and M. Max-Neef. The overview part is followed by qualitative research that is looking to find an aswer to the research question: What is the subjective perception of needs by elderly people living in residential care.

Senior citizens in residential institutions in the Czech Republik and Austria
KŘIŽKOVÁ, Petra
The bachelor's thesis describes the approach to seniors in senior residences in the Czech Republic and in the federal state of Salzburg in Austria. The thesis is divided into theiretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the concepts of old age, aging process, changes in the process of aging and covers also the adaptation process to aging. The further part describes the concepts of activisation and activisation programs as important element influencing the quality of life in senior residential homes. Further it describes the set of activities of seniors, the offer of activation programs. The practical part is focused on description of two concrete senior residential homes. The research used the method of multiple case studies. The objective was to determine whether the seniors are satisfied with the caretaking personell approach and how they perceive the offer of activation programs. The thesis shows the approach to care of senior people in both countries.
Theoretical Bases for Senior People Care in Residential Facilities in the State of Salzburg, Austria
KŘIŽKOVÁ, Petra
This theoretical bachelor thesis aims to provide insight into the topic of taking care of aging people. These are clients in residential facilities in the State of Salzburg, Austria. The first chapter deals with the issue of old age and aging. The second chapter covers the topic of dementia and its treatment. This disease is very common with seniorpopulation. The third chapter explains the relevant legislation in the State of Salzburg and the theoretical bases for taking care of clients in residential facilities. We describe the most commonly useed models of care applied in practice. This includes particularly the Basal Stimulation Concept, Validation Concept, Sensory Activation Concept and E. Boehm´s Psychobiography Health Care Model. In the end, the author offers a personal reflection on the situation based on her own experience.
