The estimation of company market value

The main goal of this diploma thesis is the estimation of market value of Ekosystem company. The thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part I described activities of company. In the second part I made a financial analysis of this firm. In the third part I used strategic analysis to predict its future earnings. Then I made an estimation of company value. I used the DCF Equity method.

Analysis of BI data using geographic information system

The topic of the current Master's thesis is Business Intelligence's data presentation using maps. Through integrating BI and geographic information systems a new discipline is emerging - Location Intelligence. The main goal of this thesis is to highlight and analyse reporting possibilities of the BI tools in the framework of maps. The theoretical part of this paper is dedicated to the foundation and principles of geographic information systems and their intersection with BI, where such field as Location Intelligence is being created. In the practical part of the thesis the BI tools IBM Cognos and Oracle BI are compared. The comparison is based on the following criteria: field of implementation, visualization, map external sources and performance. The evaluating criteria are defined in the beginning of the practical part as well as the evaluation method. The methods of analysis and information collecting were used to extract and revise the knowledge from specific electronic and printed sources in Czech or English. Sources for the practical part origin from my technical knowledge of the field of BI, as well as practical experience with implementation of map sources as a feature of Business Intelligence. Statistical methods are used for evaluation of the criteria results. The practical and theoretical value of the thesis lies in creating the lucid comparison of implementation of the map sources into the selected BI tools and options for reporting or visualization of BI data over map. Apart from comparison the framework for implementation of maps into the selected BI tools is established in the above mentioned work.

The valuation of the company Czech airlines plc

The aim of the thesis is to determinate the value of the company Czech airlines to 1.1.2012. In the beginning there is characteristic of the company and its history. In strategic analysis there is a valuation of long term prospects of the company and in the end there is an output of forecasting sales. Another chapter is focused on financial health of the company and prediction of the value generators and the financial plan. As the main method for the valuation of the company was used the method DCF entity. As the additional method was used the market comparison.

The purpose of my diploma thesis is to estimate objectivised value of contractual health transportation company. I am defining the value to the date 1st of January 2012. The gist of objectivised value is that the company follows its recent concept of business behavior, with the same management thinking. The value of the company is achieved by DCF valuation methods. Thesis is divided into several parts. The main parts are financial analysis and its output about the health of the company. Financial analysis is followed by strategic analysis that contains information about relevant markets and income forecasts. Next part is analysis and projection of generators of value. On the information from generators of value is based financial plan, which makes the last element for final valuation. Last part is the valuation itself.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to estimate the objectivised value of the Czech engineering company HTP s.r.o. based on the same concept up to 1. 1. 2011. Valuation is performed using discounted cash flow (DCF equity) with limited lifetime and book value method. The work includes financial analysis, strategic analysis, analysis and prognosis value generators, financial plan and final valuation.

Valuation of Machine Factory Manufacturing Air-Pumps

The aim of the thesis is to estimate the objectivized value of the company Vzduchotechnika a.s. as at January 1st, 2012. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is financial analysis which is followed by strategic analysis. The outcome of the analyses is then used to valorize the long-term perspective of the company, to confirm the premise of "going concern" principle and to predict future earnings of the company. The earning prediction is the starting point for the prognosis of value generators and creating the financial plan necessary for valuation based on discounted cash flow. The final value is set as an interval determined by different earnings prognoses.

Transfer pricing documentation

This thesis deals with the issue of transfer pricing, current legislation and methods with emphasis on the creation of transfer pricing documentation. The importance of documentation is mainly to show that prices in transactions between related parties do not differ from the prices agreed between independent parties. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The first chapter of this part deals with the definition of the concept of transfer pricing. The second chapter describes the current legislation of transfer pricing, both from the perspective of international regulation, but also in terms of the requirements in the Czech Republic. The following chapters are dedicated to the definition of arm's length principle and methods that can be used in the creation of transfer pricing. The following describes the meaning and way of creating transfer pricing documentation. The practical part deals with creating transfer pricing documentation with application to a particular company in order to verify compliance with the arm's length principle.

The valuation of betting shop

The aim of my thesis is to estimate objectivised value of the company FORTUNA sázková kancelář, a.s. on the date 31st December, 2010. The work is divided in 5 main parts. The first part begins with an overview of basic information about the company. After that strategic analysis and financial analysis have been done. Strategic analysis defines relevant market and gives the company forecast of the sales. Financial analysis verifies the financial health of companies valued and reveals their financial risks alternatively. In the third part generators of value have been analysed and predicted. On the basis of the generators of value the complete financial plan has been set up. Finally, the DCF valuation methods Entity and the market comparison have been implemented.

The topic of this diploma thesis is a business valuation of the company Iveco Czech Republic, a.s.. I am looking for the company value. I have chosen market value like a valuation base for this diploma thesis. The market value is considered to be the valuation base for assets and companies in the market based countries. I prefer this base because of its benefits, Iveco Czech Republic, a.s. also fulfilled going concern assumption and therefore I think that the market is able to evaluate companies most objectively.
