Flow, chemical and isotopic composition of water in unsaturated zone of the castellated sandstone at Klokočské skály area
Mikuš, Petr ; Bruthans, Jiří (advisor) ; Jiráková, Hana (referee)
The study is focused on character of flow, permeability, mean residence of water, chemical composition of water and chemical fluxes in unsaturated zone of castellated sandstone at Klokočské Skály area. Soil water as well as the water seeping from up to 15 m thick sandstone unsaturated zone consists of mixture of: A) Component with mean residence time 2-4 months (50-75% of mixture) and B) Component with mean residence time exceeding 4 years (25-50% of mixture). In winter the component A is missing in K3 drip place probably because of freezing conditions, which prevent infiltration of the fast component. Sulfates are the most abundant anion in studied waters with chemical flux in sandstone unsaturated zone (SUZ) 7-10 g/m2/year, which exceeds several times the influx from total (wet and dry) atmospheric deposition (1.2 g/m2/year). On the other hand nitrates flux is decreasing with depth (atmospheric deposition 1.7 g/m2/year; flux in SUZ 0.2-0.4 g/m2/year). Aluminum is the most abundant cation in SUZ (average concentration 6.3 mg/l, max. 35 mg/l). Flux of aluminum in SUZ is 2.5 g/m2/year, which is 80 times more that atmospheric deposition. Surprisingly the forest vegetation does not seem to suffer any directly visible damage. Silica is another substance which is intensively leached from SUZ. The most prominent...
Isotope hydrogeology and geothermal applications to clarify the origin, the sustainability and the character of groundwater flow: Bohemian and Aquitaine sedimentary basins
Jiráková, Hana ; Hrkal, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Rapantová, Naďa (referee) ; Michelot, Jean-Luc (referee)
Isotopic investigations combined with geothermal applications represent powerful tools for the exploration of groundwater potential as a drinking or geothermal resource. This Ph.D. Thesis combines both approaches, environmental and radioactive isotopes together with temperature data in deep aquifers, in order to enrich and update the knowledge concerning the aquifer recharge processes in the Aquitaine Basin (France) and the aquifer recharge processes and geothermal potential in the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin (Czech Republic). Stable isotopes (18 O, 2 H, 13 C) combined with radioisotope data (14 C, 3 H) are used to estimate the recharge timing and climatic conditions prevailing during the infiltration from the Late Pleistocene up to modern time. The character of groundwater recharge and regime are necessary to generate relevant source data for the accurate modelling of complex groundwater systems. Three groups of groundwater recharge types can be distinguished throughout Europe - (i) continuous recharge and (ii) interrupted recharge during Last Glacial Maximum and (iii) a group corresponding to particular recharge conditions. The contrasted geographic and climate conditions at both study sites in France and the Czech Republic have entailed a great heterogeneity of the recharge conditions and...
Perugino and Cremona
Jiráková, Hana ; Konečný, Lubomír (referee) ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor)
A key theme of this study is the painting with Madonna and Saints in the church of Sant'Agostino in Cremona by Pietro Perugino in the context of his work in the North Italy. After characterization of Perugino's art ensues description of his North Italian commissions and of his painting in Cremona. In the next chapters I define the development of art in Cremona and I investigate the influence of this painting and of the Perugino's style on the art in Cremona in the period around the turn of 15th and 16th century. A target is to detect these connections in works of artists Boccaccio Boccaccino, Tommaso Aleni, Galeazzo Campi, Francesco Casella and Marco Marziale, who worked in this time in Cremona.
Analysis of the means of expression of the intensification in Spanish
JIRÁKOVÁ, Hana
The object of present thesis is an introduction to the issues of comparative analysis of Czech and Spanish expression instruments which are modifying the verbal action in sense of its intensity. The aim of this paper is to determine the theoretical knowledge and the differences between Czech and Spanish grammars based on the rate of verbal action. Then, on the basis of that knowledge, is accomplished an analysis of real translations made by the InterCorp corpus. Finally there is an evaluation of obtained data and a comparison with the theoretical knowledge.
Proposal for Improving the System of Reward and Motivation of Employees
Jiráková, Hana ; Kubánek, Radovan (referee) ; Zich, Robert (advisor)
This thesis deals with a system of remuneration and motivation of workers in a particular company. The first part deals with theoretical knowledge associated with the topic. The second part is focused on a specific company. Here we focus in detail on reward and motivate employees. Based on the data I suggest ideas to improve this system in a company. The new pay system aims to increase output and employment eligibility of workers.

Mykotoxiny v potravinách a jejich vliv na zdraví člověka
Jiráková, Hana
This bachelor thesis is a literature review dealing with the occurrence of mycotoxins in foods and their effect on human health. The first part is devoted to the basic characteristics of selected filamentous fungi and their metabolic products adversely affecting human health. Mycotoxins are toxic and carcinogenic substances produced mainly by fungi of the genera Aspergillus, Penicillium and Fusarium. The second part describes the impact of mycotoxins on human health and identifies appropriate measures to fight against mycotoxins. The last part is devoted to describing the actual situation in the Czech Republic.
Czech emigration to Latin America - significant figures and expatriate associations
JIRÁKOVÁ, Hana
The object of this bachelor thesis is introduction to the issues of Czech emigration to Latin America. First part of the work is dedicated to outline the history of emigration to Latin America and define the most common destinations of Czech compatriots. Second part is dedicated to the important compatriots who have been acting on the region of Latin America. Next chapter deals with the association activity of the compatriots, defines the reasons of founding of these associations and their activity in these days. The last part of the work is focused on the issues of relationship between compatriots and the contemporary Czech state and support, which is given to the compatriots from the part of Czech Republic.
