Old - new urban spa

The bachelor thesis deals with the town spa in Zábrdovice by architect Bohuslav Fuchs. Spaces were inserted into the spa, which did not burden their construction with their functions. The urbanistic study deals with the Zábrdovice area, which will become the Military Campus.

The Bachelor{\crq}s thesis focuses on the process of the European Constitution Revival during the German EU Council Presidency in the first half of 2007. The German Presidency wanted to revive the constitutional process after the failing referenda in France and the Netherlands in 2005 and to bring back together the EU member states. At the first part, the definitions such as European Constitution or EU presidency are explained. In the next part, the thesis describes the German chancellor Angela Merkel{\crq}s goals to be achieved during the German Presidency as well as the approach to their realization. The thesis outlines positions of some EU member states that did not ratify the European Constitution and specifies member states{\crq} requirements for a new Constitution. The results of the constitutional process during the German Presidency including outline of its further developments are described in the final part of the thesis.
