Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Company and Proposals for its Improvement
Hurytová, Nikola ; Homola, Luděk (referee) ; Žižlavský, Ondřej (advisor)
The theme of bachelor thesis is the financial analysis and evaluation of the current state of company PROAGRO Radešínská Svratka a.s. and the starting material for their processing are statements of the company for the years 2010-2014. In the first part of bachelor thesis are provided theoretical knowledges for the researched area. The second - practical part - is itself a financial analysis of the company in which selected financial indicators are calculated and evaluated. Based on the finding results is elaborated the suggesting part of the work including measures and recommendations to improve the financial situation of the company.
Background innate reflex locomotion patterns of movement and ventilation in children patients with chronic respiratory diseases
Plešková, Jana ; Pohunek, Petr (advisor) ; Sedlák, Vratislav (referee) ; Homola, Lukáš (referee)
Reflex locomotion according to Professor Vojta (VRL) is based on the activation of complex motor patterns from certain defined positions with stimulation of the so-called trigger zones, located on the human's body. It is primarily used in patients with neurological deficits; however, it is currently also being used in internal medicine. It has been reported that VRL can indirectly affect breathing, however its use in paediatric patients with chronic respiratory disease has not yet been investigated. As part of this theses, a randomized controlled single-centre intervention study was conducted. Its aim was to evaluate the short-term effects of VRL on lung function in paediatric patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) with normal baseline spirometry. The effect of a 30minute VRL intervention was compared in a crossover design with the effect of positioning (without stimulation of trigger zones). The primary outcome was the change in global ventilation inhomogeneity, assessed by lung clearance index (LCI2.5) derived from nitrogen multiple breath washout test. Secondary outcomes included changes in regional ventilation inhomogeneity (indices of acinar [Sacin*Vt] and conductive airways [Scond*Vt] inhomogeneity) and spirometric parameters (inspiratory capacity, forced vital capacity, and forced expiratory...
A Validatation of non-invasive method for diagnostic of cystic fibrosis based on ion ratios determined by CE-C4D

A validation of novel approach for diagnosis of cystic fibrosis (CF) is presented. The method is very simple and fast, since for collection of samples, only wiping of the skin of forearm is needed. The collected sample is analyzed by capillary electrophoresis with contactless conductometric detection (CE-C4D). Ion ratios are determined as ratios of peak area of chloride anion and peak areas of selected cations. It is possible to distinguish between cystic fibrosis patients and healthy individuals when ion ratio is applied as diagnostic factor. In here, we present analytical parameters of developed method (limits of detection, limits of quantification, repeatability of migration times, repeatability of peak areas) and ROC curve, which reveals high sensitivity and specificity of the developed method.

Analýza systému nakládání s odpady ve firmě OSMONT,s.r.o.
Homola, Lukáš
The diploma thesis is focused on OSMONT s.r.o.'s waste management system analysis. Basic terms related to valid legal and normative regulations in the area of waste management are characterised within the paper. Under the thesis assignment, waste type and composition is specified, reflecting the production process of the company. The paper also mentions operation and running specifics of production processes within the business entity. Based on the waste management analysis, an evaluation of the current system was conducted. In conclusion, practical recommendations for changes and improvement of the current waste disposal system in OSMONT s.r.o. were proposed.
The Influence of Tangible and Intangible Fixed Assets Measurement and Its Impact on the Efficiency of an Accounting Entity
Homola, Lukáš ; Randáková, Monika (advisor) ; Míková, Marie (referee)
The focus of this bachelor thesis are tangible and intangible fixed assets and their impact on the efficiency of an accounting entity. In the beginning, the terminology related to the topic is explained. Each chapter includes illustrations of relevant mathematical problems and their solution, which demonstrates the impact of the tangible and intangible fixed assets' measurement. The practical part is based on the twenty five responses from an online questionnaire, which was made specifically with purpose of mapping the methods of depreciation and asset acquisition. The conclusion then compares the theoretical background with the reality of the results gained in the online questionnaire.
