Dance education of preschool hyperactive children

The topic of this diploma thesis is Dance education of preschool hyperactive children. Goal of research is to describe teaching of hyperactive children especially dance lessons. There is described Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in the first part of thesis. There is written about special needs of children with ADHD focused on education. Second part is focused on practical dance lesson of ADHD children. There is described example dance lesson based on theory and practical experience of experts. The result of research is that supply of special lessons is very limited and it is big pity. In the diploma thesis was recognized that the education with special program should help to children with ADHD and it can be good supplement to standard medical therapy.
The journey of polka to the opera The Bartered Bride

This diploma thesis contains the description of the polka dance, its origin and short history. The next part belongs to the opera of Bedřich Smetana „The Bartered Bride“ from its creation through to the next presentations in the National theatre in Prague until the actual performance. In the last part there are descriptions of three chosen choreographies of polka from this opera and their analysis according to the model of Janet Adshead – Lansdale. Supplements contain biographies of Bedřich Smetana and choreographers of chosen inscenations – Otto Šanda, Pavel Šmok and Ladislava Košíková.
Folk culture in memories of people born in 20s and 30s of 20th century

This thesis is focused on memories of people born in 20s and 30s of 20th century about traditional folk culture. It is focused on observing original traditions and celebrating traditional festivities and what sense had these traditions for them and how they ment it. First part of this thesis is focused on narratives life stories. Second part is about memories of traditional customs and habits and how was changing their way of celebrating during prewar period, war and in time of socialism. Last part is dedicated to dancing. Storytellers spoke about dancing opportunities, their own dance experience and dance perofrmances in the theatre.
Dance and movement in psychotherapy

The Bachelor thesis discusses the dance movement therapy, its development and provision as a psychotherapeutic approach. The aim is to call attention to the extensive use when working with clients and to present it as a method that has its foundation, principles, structure, form, goals and ethical aspects. Then highlight the inconsistencies in terminology and confusing dance movement therapy with therapeutic dance. The work is enriched with practical knowledge and contains case study, which has not been published.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the basic moving patterns which individual obtains during evolution from commence to first steps. Correct adoption influences movement development and movement expression in further life. This theory is based on thoughts Body-Mind Centering and it was described in Linda Hartley's book "Wisdom of the body moving: an introduction to body-mind centering. Objective Objective of this thesis is to describe individual patterns and its role in the motion development and furthermore put them into perspective of psycho-motoric development of individual and find the way how to integrate these patterns into dance education. The Cobbler, Miller´s dance and the Plough. Motifs of work and crafts in Czech folk dances

The dissertation on The Cobbler (Švec,) Miller´s dance (Mlynářská) and the Plough (Ruchadlo). Motifs of work and crafts in Czech folk dances deals with the theme of folk dances pertaining to motifs of work and crafts, namely dances with movements depicting and imitating work movements. It is based on the detailed study of records and descriptions of Czech folk dances in collections, manuals of social dances and other sources.The variations of dances appearing repeatedly in the sources, were compared. The study revealed three principal ways of how the work motif is employed: in the songs' lyrics; the dancers' movements resemble a certain activity ; the work process is imitated intentionally. It became evident that there is a connection between the incidence of these dances and the social and political context of the period.
Classical dance at Czech dance organization

BA 'production' concerns issues of classical dance related with The Czech Dance Organisation. It analyses individual aspects and offers possible solutions. The aim of the 'presentation' is not the criticism (of the Dance Organisation) but in the matter of fact the endeavor to identify and solve inner drawbacks of the biggest Organisation of the Czech Republic which represents many amateur dancers of wide age range.
Awareness of the Concept of folk Dance in higher Education

This thesis focuses on awareness of college students about folk dance. How they perceive folk dances, how they relate it and what they think about it. I also wanted to find out what is their idea about folk dance, and if their idea coincides with reality. Part of my work was a lesson in folk dance for non-dancers. After completing this lesson participants shared their opinions and suggestions from which I have learned how the folk dance worked with them.
Slovacko´s feast with law in Spytihněv

This bachelor thesis mediates a view of a feast with law in Spytihněv village, which is special celebration of region Slovácko. It describes the village history, a feast and feast artefacts meaning. The work is focused on a feast course and on folk dances connected with the tradition. The characteristic of dances of the Spytihněv village, which is located in one of Slovacko's region - Dolňácko, is stated in the thesis.
Movement as part of a professional singer preparation

In this diploma thesis are examined importance and practical form of physical education for students of opera singing. This physical preparation is although automatically a part of art education in schools, but is determined by a number of lessons and their ideological fulfillment. The work also introduces basic dance styles and their elements, that can assist future opera singer in finding the optimum engagement.
