Laboratory power source
Havlíček, Lukáš ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
he goal of this semestral work is to design a switch-mode power supply with the following requirements. The input voltage is determined as constant 230 V AC, whereas output voltage should be infinitely adjustable in range of 0 V – 30 V DC. The maximum output current loading is 3 A. The output voltage and output current are controlled by means of a microprocessor.
Laser source with fiber-optic output
Roupec, Tomáš ; Mikulka, Jan (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
This term project deals with the semiconductor laser components, and how it works. Additionally, there is an optical fiber ant networking with laser. It is written of power and cooling laser diodes and such information suggested the possible involvement of the laser diode. At the end of this work is designed laser´s exciter with charging and adjacent circuits.
Design and realization of a high-voltage power generator f=13.56 MHz
Potúček, Patrik ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and practical realization of a high-voltage power generator, which works at a frequency of f = 13.56 MHz. Thesis also deals with the design of a probe dedicated to measuring the electro-magnetic spectrum of the plasma. The probe should be able to work in the frequency range of f = 0 - 500 MHz. State of the art in the field of plasma generation and plasma diagnostics are discussed.
The source of high-level current impulse
Myška, Radek ; Fiala, Pavel (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
The semestral project is concerned with possibilities of a creating very short high–level current pulses. Individual parts of sources and optimum design solutions are solved in the project, which will be realized in terms of bachelor’s project.
Design of magnetic bar-code read head
Kadlčík, Libor ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
Magnetic bar-code is composed from ferromagnetic bars printed on a substrate. The amount of ferromagnetic material is low, therefore reading magnetic barcode requires sensitive methods. Principle of methods of sensing both low-intensity magnetic field (fluxgates) and detecting low concentration of ferromagnetic material (resonant circuit, differential sensor) will be described. There are sensors producing frequency-modulated signal, therefore we focus on frequency demodulators as well. Signal acquired by sensor suffers from convolution distortion, reconstruction methods will be introduced. The assembled device consists of sensing oscillator, frequency demodulator, amplifier and reconstructing circuit. Frequency demodulation is done by phase-locked loop or differential demodulator. Reconstruction is based on detection of inflection points, producing square signal (representing bars of barcode). Design of these blocks is described. The device is able to read magnetic barcodes and reconstruct convolutionary distorted acquired signal. The differential demodulator exhibits low noise and low temperature drift (contrary to phase-locked loop). Signal produced by reading 2 mm wide bars is reconstructed without any problems, bars of width less than 1 mm cause troubles in certain cases (due to high degree of convolution distortion).
Simulator of partial discharge signal in the UHF band
Škoda, Martin ; Kasárník,, Milan (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the problem of the origin and expression of partial discharges in dielectric materials. In the thesis the theoretical foundations, types and parameters of partial discharges are described. In particular, it deals with UHF (ultra high freqeuncy) electromagnetic radiation using UHF method of partial discharge detection. It also deals with the partial discharge UHF signal simulation. The development of UHF sensor systems for partial discharges requires a dive that can simulate them as accurately as possible. Furthermore, a workplace was designed for simulation and detection of partial discharges and processing of their time and frequency characteristics.
Atmospheric correction unit for the laser interferometer
Kučera, Stanislav ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This work deals with design, realization and testing the device for suppression the effect of the fluctuation of the atmospheric conditions on the laser interferometer measurement. Parasitic and randomly changes of atmospheric conditions – temperature, pressure, relative humidity and chemical composition of the air changes his refractive index, then wavelength of the laser light in this environment. Physical properties of air are measured by ultraprecision sensors. The actual wavelength is periodically calculated from Edlén formula. The device is processing the quadrature output signals from receiver of the homodyne interferometer include the atmospheric correction in real time. The device is equipped with interface to data acquisition into the personal computer.
The suppresion of mechanical stress impacts in fiber optic transmission systems
Pavlů, Michal ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
This bachelors project deals with the suppresion of mechanical stress impacts in fiber optic transmission systems. Factors that have major influence on the polarization state distortion in optical fiber are discussed. It has been propřed the utilization of orthoconjugate retroreflector (OKR) for the compensation of polarization state degeneration. The theoretical analysis of this method is performed. The OKR method has been experimentally verified in the fiber optic current sensor. On the basis of results which were obtained by experimental verification the experimental results show evidence konvenience of the designed method.
Switchable filter for UHF band
Sedlák, Milan ; Čáp, Martin (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of multi-channel switchable filter for ultra high frequency band. The theoretical part focuses on a basic features and principles of the realization of frequency filters and high frequency switches. The practical part focuses on the selection of appropriate components and complete design of switchtable signal filter.
