Marketing plan of Pražská kavárna for 2018

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the current marketing plan of the existing café Pražská kavárna and recommends a marketing strategy for the next period. The main objective of this thesis is to propose a new marketing plan for Pražská kavárna for the following year 2018, based on the gained theoretical knowledge and information gathered from the analyses of current marketing practices. The partial objectives are to make a business situation analysis (macro, micro and internal environment), characterize the company's marketing mix, to identify points for improvement, and to develop the resulting targets and strategies. The thesis is divided into five chapters, into the theoretical and practical parts. The first part deals with the theory of strategic planning and the specifics of marketing in the hospitality industry and includes current food trends. In the second part, the theoretical knowledge is applied in order to evaluate the current marketing strategy of the company and design a new marketing plan.
Fair trade and Direct trade certification in marketing strategies of Czech coffee roasters and cafes

This diploma thesis is focused on the state of specialty coffee market in the Czech Republic, while concentrating on the position of the biggest coffee roasters and cafes on this market and their marketing strategies. Analysis of these marketing strategies is part of this thesis, with focus on approach of these roasters to Fair trade and Direct trade. Theoretical as well as practical part of this thesis presents findings from the Czech specialty coffee market, explains background of its fast development and the significance of alternative trade practices. The approach of coffee consumers to values presented by specialty coffee has been evaluated through a questionnaire survey. These values include certifications themselves and their ethical significance, as well as locality of roasting and therefore also accessibility of fresh and high quality product.
Quality of gastronomical services

Bachelor thesis deals with the quality of services offered in gastronomy. The aim of this work is to analyze the perception of gastronomic service quality and the subsequent creation of proposals for their possible improvement. In theoretical part of the thesis are defined terms as gastronomy, gastronomical services and quality. Subsequently, their development and history are also described. The practical part consists of a research about perception of the quality of gastronomical services and the interview with professional cook Roman Vaněk. Included are also suggestions, which can possibly improve the quality in gastronomy and which are based on results of the research and interview findings.
