REINFORCED CONCRETE CYLINDRICAL TANK

The Bachelor´s thesis focuses on a static solution of reinforced concrete cylindrical tank. The thesis comprises dimensioning of the bottom of the tank and its walls to selected load cases and processing a drawing documentation. The calculation of internal forces is done using the software Scia Engineer. The validation of results is performed by hand calculation using differential equations on a simplified model for the results of internal forces in the wall of the tank.

Suspension footbridge across the river

The subject of the thesis is to design a suspension footbridge over a river basin. Three different studies were created for the assigned problem. The suspension footbridge was chosen for the thorough elaboration. The most important part of the thesis is the static solution of the supporting structure. The structure model for calculation of impacts of selected strains including the impact of the footbridge construction was created in computational software Ansys. Assessment and dimensioning was carried out using manual calculation according the principles of limit states and applicable standards.

The effect of stress in early ontogeny on behavioural characteristics of rodents

Postnatal stress and sensory stimulation are major factors causing the acute changes in development of neuroendocrine system that can influence the expression of behavioural phenotype in adult rodents. Variability of early life environment and stress affect the development of individual through the changes of maternal care. The amount and quality of maternal care influence the function of HPA axis and stress hormone levels in pups during the hyporesponsive period, which provides them lesser vulnerability against the potential impact of stressors. This mechanism is crucial for physiological development of hippocampus, amygdale and prefrontal cortex, the brain regions that are highly important for regulation of adult behaviour. The absence of maternal care and social contact in postnatal and early weaning ontogeny are possibly the biggest stressors in rodents. While neonatal handling (brief maternal separation) has mainly positive effects on the development of emotional and cognitive abilities, prolonged and repeated maternal separation and early weaning result in stress-response alterations and long-lasting impairments in many behavioural traits mediated by the lack of maternal care. Diplomová práce popisuje vývoj francouzských investic v České republice. Uvádí ekonomickou charakteristiku Francie a analyzuje kulturní, sociální a politické aspekty země. Práce se věnuje česko-francouzským obchodním vztahům. Snaží se zachytit činnost některých organizací, které podporují a napomáhají v rozvoji hospodářské a kulturní spolupráce Francie a České republiky a k přílivu dalších francouzských investic do České republiky. Práce se věnuje zastoupení a působení francouzských společností v naší ekonomice.
