Boundary Nodes Detection in Wireless Sensor Networks
Bocek, Jan ; Vajsar, Pavel (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
Theoretical part of thesis describes several known algorithms and new approaches for the bourder node detection in a wireless sensor networks. The new algorithm BRB was inspired by failures of previous algorithms and its major supporting idea is select several neighboring points (B, C). Approach algorithm BRB is a decentralized detection of nodes located at the perimeter. The practical part compares several algorithm with the new BRB algorithm. Quantity of successful and false detection of boundary nodes was evaluated in ideal and real environment. The simulation results shown, that the proposed algorithm is effective solution for accurate border node detection in wireless sensor networks.
Valuation of the Firm
Boček, Jakub ; Bistrá, Vendula (referee) ; Beranová, Michaela (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to determine the value company Bopal Ltd. Valuation will be carried out to determine the value of the company for strategic management needs of its owners. Value of company will established 31. 12. 2014 using income methods, specific methods discounted cash flow.
Automation the process of designing and programming of machine
Boček, Jaromír ; Prostredník, Daniel (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of information transfer between the Department of Electrical Equipment Design and the Software Development Department of the control system of this machine. The diploma thesis focuses mainly on the elimination of the influence of the human factor while increasing the efficiency of this information transfer. System analysis examines the issues and investigates the reliability of information transfer. On the basis of the requirements resulting from the analysis, preventive measures and modifications of procedures in both departments have been proposed. Simultaneously, its own software applications have been developed to considerably simplify and accelerate the process, while meeting the requirements to eliminate problematic phenomena caused particularly by human factors. The resulting solution is verified according to the designated verification process and reassessed by own "SampleVUT" test project. Validation evaluates the effectiveness of the proposed solution.
Laboratory execises using ADAM industrial sensor system
Bocek, Jan ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Rampl, Ivan (advisor)
Main task of the Bachelor Thesis is to familiarize with industry sensor systems that are realized on measuring panel. It is necessary to understand its communication and suggest 2 laboratory exercises. Realized industrial sensor system is assembled of 6 ADAM 4000 modules, which are made by Advantech company. It is decentralized measuring system, comunicating by interface RS-485 and with PC by bus RS-232. The first designed exercise is „Determination of position and mass weight“ and second exercise is measurement on „Thermal quantity sensor“. It was measured in developing environment ADAMview which is designated for modules ADAM. The reason for usage of sensor system is to reduce the time of measurement, make it more confortable, more accurate, simplify elaborating results and makes it possible for considerable automatization of measurement.
Steels for the automotive industry
Boček, Jan ; Mauder, Tomáš (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is research of usage of modern steel in the automotive industry. Because car bodies are subjected to strict requirements, multiple steel grades are used in their construction. Steel provides suitable properties such as good weldability, formability, and high strength. It has its disadvantages as well, and because of that, other materials has started to be used. This thesis contains a general overview about steel, the theory of usage of steel in the automotive industry and information about specific steels used and their properties. Particularly they are HSLA steels, low carbon steels, dual phase steels and TRIP steels. Nowadays in the automotive industry, steels are the main material used and it isn’t unreasonable to think that it will stay that way in the future.
Server monitoring component
Boček, Jaromír ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the development of a universal server monitoring component for collecting data from various servers. This component meets the requirements for easy installation, setup and activation of the specified server. The monitored unit releases information that the monitored server is active and completely functioning, in particular, information on CPU utilization, state of disk utilization, and state of all logged users. The presented multiplatform concept puts emphasis on the most common platforms, such as Linux and Windows. In addition, transfer of acquired data through the Internet obstacles in the form of firewall configurations and other security technologies has been solved within this work.
Vyhodnocení emisí amoniaku z vybraného chovu prasat
BOČEK, Jan
The purpose of this final work is to evaluate the average annual emission of ammonia ballast gas from a selected pig farm in Hejná of Horažďovice in the Pilsen region. Instruments from the BAT center of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice were used for the measurements. This problem around the ammonia (NH3) ballast gas is further compared with the European Union directive and also evaluated according to the given statistical methods. In order to improve relations between agriculture and the environment, it is above all necessary to reduce emissions of all stress gases (NH3, CO2, N2O, CH4), but especially ammonia. Due to the increasing use of intensive agriculture, ammonia affects not only the environment but also the creation of the landscape, where it affects important landscape elements such as soil, air and water. Agriculture is considered to be the largest producer of ammonia up to 90 % worldwide. The use of the latest products for reducing the concentration of ammonia in the stable environment, in the processing of manure and slurry and protective measures when establishing manure and pits is a suitable method to prevent large-scale ammonia leakage into the air. The final work also has in its content a literature search, which mentions pig breeding in general, statistics and the economics of pig breeding.
Návrh přípravku k testování utužení půdy na univerzálním zkušebním stroji
BOČEK, Jan
The aim of the work was to produce a functional fixture for soil compaction testing on a universal testing machine. Above all, the question was whether the testing fixture could withstand the forces acting on the soil on a testing machine. In the theoretical part of the thesis is generally described soil compaction and how to prevent it. Further, there are described other instruments by which we can determine the soil firmness, from a simple spade test to more complex electronic instruments. This section also describes the universal testing machine. The practical part describes the production of the soil compaction test and the production costs are recorded in the table. The device is shown in the drawings for a better idea. The course of the experiment, individual measurements and repetitions are described. The results for better clarity are shown in the graphs.

Evaluation of interest rates predictions: The case of Czech National Bank
Boček, Josef ; Horváth, Roman (advisor) ; Serdarevič, Goran (referee)
This research focuses mainly on the evaluation of interest rates predictions (predictions of 3M PRIBOR rate) published by Czech national bank. In the first part of the thesis reasons and potential central bank's benefits of the publishing of interest rate predictions are presented, based on the current academic literature. In the next chapters econometric and non-econometric evaluation of Czech national bank forecasts is provided. Furthermore, predictions from Czech Treasury, random walk process and my own autoregressive and vector autoregressive predictions were evaluated as well. It has been concluded that Czech national bank produces and publishes the most accurate based on non-econometric and econometric evaluation of all examined predictions. Moreover during the F-test evaluation procedure, the forecasts of Czech national bank proved themselves to be unbiased for the longest time horizon of all examined predictions.
