Development of regional differentiation of avoidable mortality in the Czech Republic

Development of regional differentiation of avoidable mortality in the Czech Republic Abstract The main goal of the thesis is the evaluation of development of avoidable mortality in the Czech Republic during 1994-2012. According to concept of avoidable mortality there are two main categories which differ among the authors in terms of selection of avoidable causes of deaths. Indicators based on category of preventable mortality show efficiency of prevention, indicators based on category of treatable mortality correspond with quality of health care and health policies. The intention is to compare a development of avoidable mortality from three different aspects using three different lists of causes of avoidable deaths focusing on regional differentiation. Results of the thesis indicate that the intensity of avoidable mortality was declining during 1994-2012 in all the regions. The level of this mortality differed depending on a list of avoidable causes of deaths and also among districts. Comparison of marital behaviour in the Czech and Slovak Republic since 1993 Abstract: This thesis deals with nuptiality in the Czech and Slovak Republic after the year 1993. The intention is to compare trends in intensity and timing of nuptiality in both countries and to describe the causes of changes. The main goal based on the analysis is to determine whether convergence or divergence of marital behaviour in both countries has occurred. The analysis involves study of trends in nuptiality before 1993 and based on nuptiality life tables of unmarried for period after 1993. Based on the results, divergence of marital behaviour has occurred in both countries after 1993. This study concerns Second Demographic Transition, population climate changes and family policy. Also similar historical, cultural and economic conditions that have possibly affected the marital behaviour are discussed. The aim of my thesis " The settlement of intra-group supplies in the company" is the way of intra-group supplies settling. The first practical part is focused on a description of intra-group supplies, intra-group prices, which are set for the supplies, and settling. Regarding to the analysis of the current settings of intra-group prices, in the second part it is supposed to be found improvement that could bring the company lower costs and higher performance.
Customer profitability analysis in companies with customers specific products and services

The thesis concerns modern costing methods for cost control in companies with customers' specific products and services. The theoretical part describes fundamental characteristics of costing system and it focuses on contribution of traditional as well as modern costing methods. It points out benefits and deficiencies of modern costing methods in comparison to conventional practice in costing area. Following that specific features of costing issues in companies with customers' specific products and services are discussed. The application part deals with cost control and costing system in the company BESTSPORT a.s. Based on deep analysis of relevant area recommendations enhancing costs control of the company has been formulated.
