Gender aspects within information education

TITLE: Gender aspects within information education. SUMMARY: This thesis concerns gender problems and gender stereotypes issues within education. The main aim of the thesis is to contribute to the theory of information education development by means of gender aspects and concept of gender sensitive education analysis. The sub-tasks consist in monitoring of teacher attitude towards issues in gender sensitive tutorial within information education and to find out differences at the level of educational matter acquirement between boys and girls in the context of gender problematic. For the fulfilling of aims and tasks of the thesis it was used (apart of theoretical methods) above all explorative method based on couple (for male and female teachers and male and female students) of questionnaires with on-line method of data collection. Set of tasks using the AutoCAD program for secondary schools

Theoretical part of this thesis informs the reader about history of CAD and AutoCAD programs. It maps the development of the software since the early era till today. Analysis of available information sources focuses on publications, that guides the reader through the working environment of AutoCAD software in various release versions. Publications are rated based on their structure and suitability for readers. Practical part of the thesis focuses on creation of explanatory examples with detailed step by step guide, that should help understand and solve these examples. Another part consists of test examples that should allow students to test what they learnt in explanatory examples. Goal of the research part of the thesis is to determine the knowledge level of technical high school students based on their success with solving the explanatory examples prepared in practical part. The research took place in April 2012.
Creation of demonstration and practice examples for working with AutoCAD in 2D

The topic of this bachelor thesis is an active support of technical teaching for working in 2D AutoCAD through training and tutorial examples. In the teoretical part there is an analysis of the available literature, which is chosen deliberately for familiarization and advanced formation with AutoCAD, a description of the general requirements for pupils, a description of worksheets and video tutorials. The practical part is a set of training and expository examples with documented procedures and examples divided by difficulty. For each example is formed narrated video tutorial for verification, or learning the correct formation of the program. The aim of this thesis is to verify the suitability of examples (video tutorial), to get feedback from the students and to suggest possible modifications.
File of educational materials to support the teaching of mathematics

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to suggest and create the collection of solved exercises from mathematic on a theme quadratic, absolute-value equations and equations involving square roots. It is intended for the students of the fifth grade of the eight-year grammar school and for the students of the first grade of the four-year grammar school or secondary school. Thanks to the solved exercises it is possible for students to get to know the methods for solving given types of quadratics more deeply.
