iOS Game

This bachelor thesis is focused at the multiplayer games development. First chapters discuss the use of the game development tools and frameworks, specifically Cocos2d and Sparrow. After this introduction to the development for the iOS platform, study describes the commu- nication between multiple devices, high latency problems and various network architectures. The succeeding chapters describe a design and implementation of a simple multiplayer game based on the Game Center social service. The end of this thesis reviews the user tests and the results of a survey on the multiplayer gaming on mobile devices. 
Music Improvisation

The thesis deals with problems concerning algorithmic music compositon, especially the domain of musical improvisation. There is an opening presentation of some of existing tools and approaches that are commonly used in domain of computer music. Consenquently there is a proposal of a new system, using main principles of markov chains and prediction suffix trees (PST) with description of its implementation. The main task of developped application is to analyze an external MIDI recording that is proposed to the system by user and create a new and inovative musical material in MIDI format that would sound close to the original recording giving an impression of a computer improvised music to the listener.
Augmented Reality for Commercials

Master's thesis presents a possible application of augmented reality in domain of commerci- als. It presents designed architecture of a mobile application that is able to detect and track specific objects (e.g. printed commercials, logos) in mobile';s phone camera in real time and provide some extra information about the detected object towards the user. Thesis also provides a review of contemporary used techniques in object recognition, object tracking and image retrieval from image databases.
OCR on iOS Platform

This thesis is dedicated to text recognition in image on iOS mobile platform. It describes principles and methods for text location, feature extraction and classification. Portion of this work is devoted to design and implementation of simple application. With this application is possible to recognize information about location of furniture in IKEA's storeroom.

Android Application with Content Based Image Retrieval

This thesis deals with the development on the mobile platform Android and algorithms for comparing images. The work identifies different ways of getting information and representation of these images and comparing them together. The theoretical part describes all necessary tools which are needed for development and a little description of their functionality. The practical part is devoted to describing the implementation of the application which detects hockey cards according to the photo taken by user. This part also contains testing results with evaluating success of each method for detection and their usefulness on mobile platform. In the conclusion there is a review of overall results and possible upgrades of the application.
