The subject of the thesis is to develop a project of guest house. It is a new building on the outskirts of urban area, the municipality Slavkov u Brna. The building is located on a flat terrain and is consists of two floors. There is the guest house located on the first floor and on the second floor there is owner`s flat. The wall is made of brick system POROTHERM, ceiling construction is made of POT beams and ceramic inserts MIAKO. The building is covered with a gable roof.

Šmídová, P. Identification of financial cycles in euro area. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023. This diploma thesis examines financial cycles in euro area countries using wavelet analysis. This method has significant advantages compared to the methods presented in the theoretical part of the thesis. The wavelet analysis allows to investigate both the time and the frequency domain at the same time and does not work with the assumption of the frequencies in which the financial cycle should be located. Credit and house prices were used as indicators of financial cycles. Statistically significant cycles in credit and house prices for individual euro area countries were identified in a Continuous Wavelet Transform. In the second section of the empirical part, a Wavelet Coherence Analysis was performed in order to answer the question whether financial cycles in the euro area are synchronised. Based on the results obtained, recommendations for macroprudential policy makers were made

Pupils' conceptions of science and scientists and possibilities of influencing them

The aim of the diploma thesis was to describe pupils' conceptions of science and scientists and also to suggest some possibilities to influence them. In the theoretical part of the thesis common knowledge of pupils' conceptions of science and scientists is described. It also summarises researches following up these issues, and conceptions of science education at primary school in the Czech Republic and other chosen states. In the empirical part a research focused on getting information about pupils' knowledge of science and scientists and their approach is presented. The results show, that pupils' conceptions of science and scientists are heterogeneous and the role of out-of-school activities of chosen pupils was more significant than influence of school. In the final part of the thesis there are appropriate ways how to influence pupils' conceptions of the area of science at school are outlined

Potenciál rodu Heuchera L. v zahradní a krajinářské architektuře

This thesis is focused on the genus Heuchera L. and its potential for use in landscape architecture. The theoretical part describes the morphology, composition, ecological, growing characteristics, and growing technologies for the genus Heuchera L. It also describes the historical development of this genus and defines the matter of the use of Coral bells. Practical part shows possible solutions of using the genus Heuchera L., and design of model object in Lednice in the campus of the Faculty of Horticulture, Mendel s University. This design is worked-out to the level of the study, and based on analysis. The principle of the design are habitat areas, which demonstrate widespread use of the genus Heuchera L. Project documentation on the level for building realization contains two planting plans.

Výživa kvasinek během fermentace moštů révy vinné

Nutrition yeast during fermentation musts of grapes is the theme, which deals with this thesis. And because the yeast is fed primarily nitrogen and nitrogen compounds, in the first part we find the distribution of nitorgen compounds and description of, which are important for yeast. Most mentioned will assimilable nitrogen. It is combined with the second part, which describes the mechanism of assimilation and all the issues relating to nutrition yeast. In the wine practice is now common to set the value of nitrogen and nitrogen compounds to ensure a favorable during fermentation and wine making. In the bachelor thesis therefore further provides a summary of the analytical methods, which are used for determination of nitorgen and nitrogen compounds. A substantial part of the work is paid to problems related to cider fermentation of grapes. In the third part describes the cause of sluggish fermentation, influences on fermentation and possibilities for its elimination. In the fourth and last part describes the effects of nutrition on yeast and cider and use of nutrition for the yeast in practic.

Návrh řešení městského prostoru

The aim of this work is to create a garden architectural design of urban space in Havirov to be functionally compositional and aesthetic match the needs of city residents. This design aims to revitalize and humanize actual dismal state of area of interest. The work is divided into text part, analysis and design part. The text part is focused on the description of public urban space, the literature review outlines solutions of urban spaces in abroad, history and urban development of the city Havirov further acquaint us with the natural conditions and current events in the city. The analytical part deals with the characteristics of the area and its surroundings - a location within the Czech Republic and the region compositional principles transport links and the state of vegetation. Evaluating of all analysis provides SWOT analysis which deals with positive and negative values of the investigated area as well as the threats and opportunities of the area. The design solves urban space through studies cuts perspectives and details.
