The Role Of The Roma Advisor in The Process Of Community Planning

My bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and research. In the first theoretical part I tried to describe and explain basic terms such as community planning of social services and Roma adviser. In the second part I try to fulfill the aim of the work through qualitative research, which is to find out the role of the Roma advisor in the process of community planning and answer the research question: Is the position of the Roma advisor important for community planning? The qualitative research was carried out using the method of questioning and using a semi-structured interview. The research group consists of Roma advisors from the South Bohemian Region. The research part also includes the methodology of work, especially the description of data collection and processing. The results of the interviews are then evaluated.

Respiration as an interdisciplinary topic in science education

This diploma thesis is focused on topics of and respiratory chain and their processing as educational animations for secondary schools. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, supporting terms are defined (visualisations, interdisciplinary relations, animations). Next, themes are included in educational field and thematic unit in RVP G. Two analyses of the topic of respiratory chain are mentioned and evaluated in this part. Firstly, there is an analysis focused on the most used chemical and biological textbooks. The second one is focused on available online animations. For research purpose of the diploma thesis quantitative method was used - a questionnaire survey. Results of this survey are listed in the practical part. Practical part presents educational materials specified for support of education topics of respiration and respiratory chain. Stress on illustrative nature and interdisciplinarity is laid in these materials. The principal materials are educational animations which were made in program Adobe Flash Professional CS6. Study text was also written to these animations. Created educational animations give a complex view on respiratory process. Occurrence of putative dsRNA mycoviruses in Ash Dieback Causal Agent

Thanks to environmental changes, globalization, long distance trade and plant transport, invasive organisms have become a major threat for world biodiversity and ecosystem services. Over the last 20 years, common European ash trees (Fraxinus excelsior L., Fraxinus angustifolia Vahl. etc.) have been subjected to heavy dieback and mortality because of the introduction and spread of the ascomycetous fungal pathogen Hymenoscyphus pseudoalbidus Queloz (syn. Chalara fraxinea Kowalski). Once the disease is established, its management is hardly possible. Therefore, one of the main objectives of European researchers is to find effective and respectful control methods, such as biological control. The discovery of viruses which reduce the virulence of the chestnut blight fungus Cryphonecria parasitica (Murr.) Barr., has intensively stimulated the research of fungal viruses as potential biological control agents (BCA). The occurrence of putative dsRNA particles in the decaying fungus H. pseudoalbidus was investigated as an important indicator of the mycoviruses' presence. In total, 106 samples of this pathogen were obtained from eight different European countries. According to the results, dsRNA segments were confirmed in 32.1 % of examined samples (two similarly sized at 2--2.5 kb and a third one of approximately 5 kb). Statistical results have revealed no significant relation between the presence of dsRNA and growth rate, colour or any other characteristic of the mycelium.
