Phantom for measurement of flow rate using dilution methods
Botlová, Simona ; Štohanzlová, Petra (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on flow measurement by dilution method. To this end was constructed the product to measure a dilution curve. Part of the work is program developed in LabVIEW interface, which is able to capture data with Vernier pH probe connected via LabPro. Program is able to approximate the measured data and provides information about the area of interest. The paper also describes the dilution method, measurement of pH and model requirements. Based on the obtained results there was constructed laboratory task.
ECG signals compression
Botlová, Simona ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the compression of ECG signals using wavelet transform and run length encoding. The principles of electrocardiography, compression methods, wavelet transform and run length encoding are described in this thesis. There was created a program to compress and decompress ECG signals in MATLAB interface. The wavelet transform settings and their influence on compress ratio and percentage root mean square difference were tested. Subsequently, the appropriate adjustment of algoritm was found and it was used on CSE database compression.
Study of rheological properties of alternative electro insulating fluids
Botlová, Simona ; Jirák, Josef (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
This master thesis deals with clasification of electrical insulating liquids and analysis their reological properties. Theoretical part describes viscosity and possibilities of its measurement, electrical and non-electricl properties of electrical insulating liquids and themselves electrical insulating liquids. Practical part describes measurement of viscosity and density of chosen vegetable oils, their components and transformer oils in wide temperature range. At the conclusion of the thesis, analysis of measurement results is done.
