Torrent Peer Monitoring

This master's thesis deals with analysis and implementation of methods for BitTorrent monitoring focusing on the Mainline DHT protocol. The aim of the thesis was to create a system, that will be looking for BitTorrent peers that participe in the illegal file distribution. Another task of the system was to collect and analyze data for counting size of the BitTorrent network. That was achieved by taking over of existing method. The system was designed and implemented as a module for monitoring of cybernetic crime. It also defines an interface for storing and sharing data, that provides data evaluation, easy data manipulation and serves for possible future extensions.

Radar-Based Speed Measurement of Sport Projectiles

This bachelor's thesis deals with a proposal and implementation of application, that extracts speed information of sport projectiles from radar data. Firstly, there is description of radar, Doppler's effect and especially continuous-wave radar. Then the bachelor’s thesis continues with signal processing issues, after which speed can be calculated.In next part there is a describtion of collecting real data and their evaluation. In the last part there is a summary of the thesis, eventual use of the application and it's possible extensions.

Vliv aktuálního ekonomického symetrického šoku na podniky v odvětví výstavby bytových budov

The topic of the thesis is an assessment of the impact of the current economic symmetric shock on companies in the residential building construction industry. Its goal is to identify significant factors influencing corporate financial performance with regard to the future development of the given financial performance. For this purpose, both the aggregated financial data of the entire industry and the financial statements of a sample of construction companies were assessed. The work specifically answers the research questions regarding the significance of the individual identified factors and the possibility of influencing their impacts. In the concluding chapter of the thesis, the main findings related to the investigated prob-lem framework are summarized.
