HF RFID tag emulator
Neužil, Ondřej ; Derbek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Vychodil, Josef (advisor)
This thesis contains the basic information about the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. It describes its main principles and usage. The main goal of this thesis is to design a RFID tag emulator for HF band according standard ISO 15693 that should emulate the long-range contactless smart card. The design includes the selection of the suitable components, such as a microprocessor - the core of the whole emulator, or calculation of the efficient integrated coil dimensions on a printed circuit and software for communication between the RFID reader card and the emulator.
Electronics for Sewing Machine
Karásek, Josef ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Vychodil, Josef (advisor)
The main components of the system for embroidery sewing machine is (Veritas 8014/35-2) and pointing devices. The machine automatically entered embroidered patterns, it is necessary to construct a pointing device and its control. To drive the pointing device used two stepper motors, the control circuit to cater to the ATmega128. Communication between PC and ATmega128 provides converter FT232.
Universal wireless communication link using ZigBee modules
Kyselý, Tomáš ; Vychodil, Josef (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
The work deals with the transmission of information via wireless ZigBee 802.15.4 standard. It describes the function, method and determination of this technology, the transmission system and security of information between ZigBee devices. It also shows the ability to connect ZigBee module to the computer, configure it for use on the network and comunicating in the network. Finally proposes the simplest diagram and PCB for the application.
Probe for RFID cards tests at 13.56 MHz
Zigo, Viktor ; Vychodil, Josef (referee) ; Derbek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis deals with RFID technology and the tag design for RFID device testing on the frequency of 13, 56 MHz. Everything regarding testing of such devices is described in ISO 18047-3 Standard. The target of this thesis is to design and construct the impedance matching (probe) between a proof coil and SW radio USRP N200 and the principles of this probe design are explained.

Signal of heartbeats – laboratory tool
Vyplel, Vojtěch ; Vychodil, Josef (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
This work deals with the development of a laboratory device for measuring heart rate. The work will describe the basic anatomy of the heart and the origin of heartbeats. There are also methods for measuring heart rate. A sensor for sensing a heart rate in a laboratory device is described in detail. The work presents the circuit solution of the laboratory device and measurement of its functionality. Furthermore, the work describes the application for the evaluation of heart rate and written instructions for laboratory exercises.
SDR-based UHF RFID communication analyzer
Vychodil, Josef ; Zamazal, Michal (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
Main topic of this thesis is development of software for capture and analysis of RFID communication in UHF band (standard EPC Class-1 Generation-2). One part of the work is focused on the basics of the RFID systems, software defined radio concept and graphical programming language LabVIEW. Main part of this thesis is discussing the developed software itself, its methods and principles. Next part is dedicated to present the graphical user interface of created application and its functionality. Last part of this thesis contains examples of captured and analysed processes in UHF RFID communication.
Millimeter Wave Band Wireless Channel Measurement Techniques in Automotive Applications
Následuje jádro disertace --- představení vyvinutého systému a detailní popis použitých metod, principů, hardwaru i způsob zpracování naměřených dat.
UHF RFID tag emulator
Janošík, Tomáš ; Zamazal, Michal (referee) ; Vychodil, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of external backscatter modulator for RFID tag emulator, which is used in UHF band. This modulator is connected with the Universal Software Radio Peripheral and antenna. Realization of a backscatter modulation contains switching between a matched load and an unmatched load. Impedance of the unmatched load is continuously adjustable. Result of this thesis is function prototype.
RFID signal analyzer using USB DVB-T receiver based SW defined radio
Sládek, Ondřej ; Vychodil, Josef (referee) ; Derbek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor’s work deals with the development of software analyzer of RFID signals in the UHF band using a USB DVB-T receiver. First part of the work describes RFID systems generally with emphasis on EPC Class-1 Generation-2 standard. The work also analyses possibilities of using a USB DVB-T receiver to receive complex IQ signal and possible options for interfacing it with LabVIEW. The created interface is described as well as the LabVIEW application itself. Furthermore, examples of recorded RFID communication are shown and possible future use of the developed code for a radio-band scanner is demonstrated at the end of the work.
