For the development of synchronous machines with permanent magnets were essential the development of power electronics, improvement of the parameters, as well as the increase of the availability of permanent magnets. The purpose of this thesis is to compare the different rotor topologies in synchronous machines with inside permanent magnets and to develop the basic electromagnetic design of synchronous machine with inside permanent magnets.

S postupom času sa elektrotechnicky průmysl posouval dopředu. Přišel rozvoj v automobilovém průmyslu, leteckém průmyslu, navigácí a dalších odvětvích. S rozvojem automobilového a leteckého průmyslu se zvětšila potřeba pro motory s vyskou spolehlivostí. Tenhle fakt zapříčinil rozvoj motorů s vćero fázami. Tyto stroje mají za úkol zvýšiť spolehlivost ale zároveň zachovat/zvýšit výkon stroje.
