Use of mirrorless cameras for deformation analysis utilising DIC
Široký, Václav ; Adamec, Tomáš (referee) ; Ščerba, Bořek (advisor)
This thesis describes design of parameters for mirrorless camera and experimental comparison with machine vision camera during measurement of deformations with digital image correlation method, known by the acronym DIC.
Increasing the fatigue life of the firearm firing pin using the explicit solver
Adamec, Tomáš ; Petruška, Jindřich (referee) ; Šebek, František (advisor)
Firing pin is a critical component in terms of firearm function. Tip of firing pin can break off due to repeated impact loading, which results in malfunction of the whole firearm. This master's thesis aims to propose changes in geometry of the firing pin so that new firing pin will be more durable against fatigue failure. Geometry and characteristics of the original firing pin are provided by company Česká zbrojovka, a.s. To determine the amount of fatigue damage for specific configuration of firing pin, computational model, which simulates impact loading of the firing pin during dry fire, is created. Finite element method with explicit formulation is used for the calculation. Parameters of geometry, which are assumed to have highest influence on fatigue life, are chosen based on the analisys of the original firing pin. These parameters are changed in further calculations, resulting in new configuration of the firing pin, which is approximately 15 % more durable against fatigue failure.
Napjatostně deformační analýza silničního mostu přes řeku Orlici
Adamec, Tomáš ; Hájek, Petr (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
The main topic of this thesis is stress and strain analysis of road bridge over the river Orlice in Třebechovice pod Orebem. First point of the thesis is theoretical introduction to trusses and solid mechanics. Second point is describing the geometry of the bridge. Third point is creation of a 2D truss model, load of the model and description of computational algorithm. Fourth part is calculation and interpretation of results. Fifth point is verification of the fourth part. Sixth point is description of 3D truss calculation.

Assistance of Export promotion agency CzechTrade while entering Polish market
Adamec, Tomáš ; Müllerová, Františka (advisor) ; Suchanek, Adam (referee)
The purpose of this thesis is to describe the process of expanding of the Czech company to Polish market with assistance of Export promotion agency CzechTrade. Thesis is analysing the cooperation among the foreign office of the agency, headquarters and client. In the first chapter, the Polish market is described in terms of economical, legal and political features. The second chapter covers the history and introduction of the agency. In the end of the chapter two there are the most important services of the agency described. Third chapter is dealing with the teoretical backround of the cooperation between agency and client. The final chapter analyses the process of entering Polish market by two real companies.
Risk-free interest rate for income based business valuation
Adamec, Tomáš ; Maříková, Pavla (advisor) ; Mařík, Miloš (referee)
This diploma thesis analyses various approaches to calculate risk-free interest rate. In the beginning it deals with the term risk-free asset a various types of bases we could start calculating from. The paper suggests using spot rates and searches for alternative interest rates on the market. These are subsequently applied to real data coming from Czech market. Specifically they are the bootstrapping method and also the method of deriving risk-free interest rate from interest swap rate. Closing thoughts are dealing with various problems an appraiser may encounter while calculating risk-free rate. For example the problem of using nominal/real rates, nonexistent long-term government bonds or the presence of a default risk for particular government. This diploma thesis closes with a decision tree that could serve as a lead for appraiser in the process of estimating risk-free interest rate.
Finanční tíseň podniku a možnosti jejího řešení
Adamec, Tomáš ; Ducheček, František (advisor)
Práce se zabývá příčinami vzniku finanční tísně, možnostmi jejího měření a některými modely predikce finanční tísně. Dále obsahuje popis dodatečných nákladů finanční tísně a hodnotí stav konkurzního řízení v České republice. V závěru se práce věnuje možnostem řešení finanční tísně, konkrétně metodám záchovným i nezáchovným.
