Po usouvztažnění různých ruských a českých termínů označujících zkoumaný jazykový útvar jsme upřednostnili užívání neutrálního pojmu mluva mládeže, jenž není v rozporu s ostatním odborným názvoslovím. Z hlediska terminologické nejednotnosti jsme mluvu mládeže v ruštině a češtině shledali Jevem problematickým.
