RICHTEROVÁ, Denisa: Through the Eyes of a Dog - Author's Book for Children. Prague, 2021. Diploma thesis. Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education. (Appendix 1: author's book for children The Dog Who Thinks Something) (Appendix 2: presentation of the project Through the Eyes of a Dog) This diploma thesis deals with a dog as a bearer of contemporary historical and cultural contexts. The theoretical part describes the history of the domestication of dogs, their relationship to humans, symbolism and mythology, and maps the associated depiction in the history of fine art. Attention is then focused on the relationship between dogs and kids with an overlap into children's literature and on illustrations with emphasis on author's book for children. Finally, there is a devotion to the representation of dogs in assisting with the educational and therapeutic processes. In the practical part theoretical knowledge is applied in the form of a author's book for children called The Dog Who Thinks Something. The story and illustrations reflect the world through the eyes of a dog which mirrors thinking, feeling and the natural need to belong to someone. Gentrification of Karlin district. Current status of physical environment and sociodemographic and economic development after 2002

The aim of the thesis is to find out if then Prague quarter of Karlin has been under the process of gentrification recently. Karlin is an inner city and has been going through dynamic changes in the last thirteen years. This is not only because of post-socialist transformation but the regeneration was also accelerated by dealing with the consequences of the flood in 2002. Different census areas of Karlin are classified into three categories according to the degree of gentrification: gentrified, ungentrified and below average areas. The research is based on the results summarizing a field research which determined physical condition of the houses, the result of analyses of ownership and price levels of Karlin houses and the development of sociodemographic and economic structure. Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after proximal humeral fracture

Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after proximal humeral fracture. Aims: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize theoretical findings about the fracture of proximal part of humerus, to elaborate the patient casuistry and evaluate the effect of the therapy. Methods: In the first part I summarized theoretical basis to the topic of proximal humeral fracture. I mention anatomy and kinesiology of shoulder girdle, etiopathogenesis, diagnostics, classification, treatment and complications of the proximal humeral fracture. I did not focus on operation solutions in details as the doctors had chosen the non-operative treatment for the patient. Finally I describe the physical therapy and physical therapy modalities suitable for this diagnosis. The second part is focused on patient I. K. casuistry suffering from proximal humeral fracture. This special part is based on my bachelor practise in CLPA held in January 2016. It contains the anamnesis and initial musculoskeletal assessment on which bases the proposal and goals of the therapy were settled. Further I present all therapeutic units, final examination and therapy evaluation.
