Gabriela Čanigová Teaching focused on the development of foreigners` language skills - benefits and disadvantages at work with class in Science in 2nd grade ABSTRACT The work will deal with the development of language skills of pupils with different mother tongue and evaluation of the possible benefits of including such focused activities in teaching the whole class. As many research surveys show, weakened language skills in the mother tongue are not only for pupils with a different mother tongue. Adjusting teaching to pupils with different foreigners language could enrich other pupils as well. On the other hand, it is possible that these activities will be too simple for most pupils, which could lead to a loss of interest. Another possible risk appears to be time consuming, which could lead to the need to reduce the scope and possibly the content of education. The research will be carried out in two research groups in the form of experimental teaching of selected topics of the subject Prvouka. In the experimental group the teaching (explanation, work with text, etc.) will be adapted to the language skills of pupils with different foreigners language. Design of Grammar and User Interface for Visualization and Filtration of Spatio-Temporal Data of Road-Users

Objective of this thesis is about design of grammar and user interface for filtering and visualization of spatiotemporal data. The initial task is to get acquainted with evaluation of traffic data based on trajectory analysis. The next part is the design and description of a formalism which allows spatial filtering and filtering based on static and dynamic attributes. Based on the created formalism, data analysis application with a user interface is designed. Design process was preceded by a comparison of existing solutions. Application is implemented in Qt Framework using C++ and QML languages.
Realistic Visualization of Snow

This diploma thesis follows visualization of snow formations, which are called penitentes. This work includes also collecting the data needed to derive the optical properties of the penitentes material. Which are different phases between snow and ice. For visualization method is used Progressive Transient Photon Beams, that this work implements with the help of SmallUbpb.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the proposal of the use of analytical and reporting services in the company. Part of the work is a detailed analysis of the company's operations and the current condition of use of analytical and reporting services of the company. Based on the findings of the analyzes, a solution proposal is developed, which includes reports and individual data visualizations, which should serve to improve the use of this area for managerial decisionmaking.

Complete coverage path planning is a task of finding such path that passes over all points in given area at least once. This thesis applies complete coverage path planning to autonomous vacuum cleaner robots. Thesis summarises current deal of autonomous vacuum cleaner robots. But mainly it focuses on describing complete coverage algorithms. Selected algorithms are implemented using Java vizlib library.
Automatic Largescale Processing of Testing Results

This thesis deals with the issue of automated processing of large volumes of data in a relational database environment. The thesis focuses on the current situation in the Codasip company and solves the insufficiently fast implementation of materialized views updates. The result of the thesis is a draft to modify the current system. This draft successfully solves problems with slow data processing. The implemented solution then brought an average acceleration of the update of materialized views by 93 % and for some materialized views an acceleration of 99 %. This solution will help Codasip increase the efficiency of processor core development, as well as their other products. At the same time, this thesis can serve as a case study of optimizing slow database queries when processing large amounts of data.
Visualisation of Manufacture Schedules

Thesis is focused on creating a web application that visualizes the manufacture schedule in a user friendly way. Most industrial activities are currently trying to maximize the use of production resources, which in turn leads to increased efficiency of production itself. The basic goal of the application is to achieve the mentioned efficiency. The application displays a massive manufacture schedule in the form of a Gantt chart, which can be easily examined and analyzed. The diagram allows various manipulations with its elements: selection of individual sources, scaling of the timeline, display of additional information. The result of the visualization is a comprehensive picture of the planned industrial manufacture.
Bridge over the Senice river

This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a road bridge over the Senice river. In the beginning of the thesis there are designed three variations of the bridge. The variation with prestressed prefabricated girders with composite slab is chosen for more detailed assessment. Time-dependent analysis is taken into account in the structural design. Detailed structural design is made and selected parts of the construction are checked for ultimate and serviceability limit state by Eurocode. Detailed drawings and visualization are made as well.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the design and analysis of one-span, perpendicular bridge across the river. Two preliminary studies have been designed and one of them was selected as the most appropriate solution and then further elaborated in more detail. The selected one was prestressed trapezoidal slab with the span of 21 meters. The load effects were calculated using a manual calculation and a program Scia Engineering and then compared. The assessment of ultimate and serviceability limit state was done by manual calculation according to current valid standards.
Laboratory Model for Simulation of Control of Simple Technological Process

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the improvement of the physical simulator of basic dynamic systems and the selection of suitable technological process to demonstrate simulation, control and visualization in laboratory teachings with a sample laboratory task. The result is an improved simulator used in the simulating of technological process using the programming structure and visualization of ControlWeb 8 application and input/output peripheral Datalab IO/USB.
